Reviews on Italian food in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District, Argentina. Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city, a melting pot of very different types of people who have shaped the identity of each of its neighborhoods. Wave after wave of immigration, along with the porteños’ penchant for looking abroad, have infused each area with its own unique features, be it Recoleta’s aristocratic legacy or San Telmo’s love affair with tango.

Authentic Neapolitan Pizza
Our hotel recommended it and it is amazing. The owner is from Naples, Italy so amazing crust and low sauce pizzas. It's in the hip Palmero SoHo area of town. Our hostess/waitress was super friendly and funny. Her English is amazing, though she will tell you otherwise. Thank you for the birthday wishes!!

Maria Fedele offers not only a nice break from steak, but a unique and interesting experience. While itâs not in the best of neighborhoods,, it was worth the visit and we never felt unsafe âplus while we walked, you can always take a cab. In addition, because itâs very easy to walk right past the restaurant, there is a gentleman who stands outside to show you the way.It is a fixed menu so you have to be willing to eat what they are serving and what they served the night we were there was delicious. The charcuterie plate was huge with wonderful meats and cheese. The 3 different pastas were perfectly cooked and we enjoyed them all âperhaps too much as we didnât have any room for the last course which this night was salmon Risotto so I canât review that dish. The wine was delicious and fairly priced, our server, Luke, spoke English and could not have been nicer â- all of which made for a most delightful evening.

Classical Italian and Mediterranean food. Very old recipes. Colonial terrace with smoking area. Managed with his owner chef Sebastian Rivas Proia. Historical location. Frequented for the local Italian collectivity.
My husband and I came here seeking a change from pizza and grilled meat in Buenos Aires. We made reservations online which was very easy. We ordered a spinach and ricotta gnocchi and a lasagne with beef and pork ragu. Both were awesome, especially the lasagna which had a tangy tomato sauce, rich ragu and a creamy béchamel sauce. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would recommend!!

Pizza and Pasta in the heart of Palermo Hollywood. Located in the fashionable Clasico Hotel and open daily Lunch and Dinner
Service was really good, waitress spoke English and was very attentive. The food was good, empanadas to start were the best weâve had. Pizza was good, a bit too cheesy though and ice cream to end was great. Donât accept MasterCard which was a bit annoying.

This is a very good little Italian place. The waiters are fluent in English and provide attentive service. The bread is very good, and the fish of the day was excellent when we tried it. It does get very busy and very noisy. It's not the spot for a quiet, romantic meal. Arrive before 1:30 to get a table for lunch, as it's quite crowded after that.

For us, we have been going to Buenos Aires for 35 years since our honeymoon, and we had the privilege of seeing fantastic retaurants such as Clark's de recoleta, Au Bec Fin, Gato Dumas, Brasserie Pètanque and others that no longer exist, Pecora Nera represents all the best that we saw in those years. Perfect atmosphere, service, refinement and cuisine at the highest level. Thank you Daniel for these wonderful moments.

Buono Italian Kitchen is a new concept of gastronomy at Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center.
I come to this restaurant often, and every single time I'm impressed with how friendly, thoughtful and skilled everyone around Buono is. The waiters, in particular, are very kind and accommodating. They accept requests for changes in the menu (not that it needs it, but in case you were thinking of changing something...), that are very well executed by the kitchen staff. Ambience in general is very nice, too: comfortable chairs, good lighting, and classy music that is not too loud nor too quiet. All in all, an excellent restaurant.

I stopped here for lunch on a hot day exploring Puerto Madero. The restaurant is situated right on the marina and has plenty of tables inside and out. I arrived quite early so had no problem getting a table, but by the time I left it was clearly very busy. The staff were great and service was good throughout. Cold beer and a fantastic flatbread 'pizza' really hit the spot.
