Modern, spotlessly clean pizzeria/creperie just up the road from Le Cheval Blanc. Simple food, well-prepared and presented. Friendly service and good value. WiFi available if you can figure out the access code! A great alternative to more expensive and pretentious formal restaurants. We tried to make a second visit but found it to be closed on Mondays.

La Villa Des Roses

We stayed at this beautiful French town in the late Summer (we were delighted to be surrounded by French people instead of English tourists like us), and were thrilled to find this little gem of a restaurant. So much so, that we returned three times and are already looking forward to our holiday in the area next Summer. They definitely do the best range of pizzas in town and have other delicious offerings on their quite extensive menu. The staff are very helpful and accommodating - we could take our dog too! The seating is half in and half out, the 'out' being scattered with lovely parasols, and you dine among colourful, pretty plants. Don't miss it!

Hopefully the other reviews are of the same place we visited. Anyway, this is the small restaurant opposite the entrance of the Chateau. We've been twice in the last two years, while staying in the area. Both occasions the place was empty when we went for lunch, this is the end of August, ok it's quiet area but for a place with a lot of tables outside and inside it is really quiet. You almost doubt if it's open. The outside area is lovely, shady when hot and very quiet. The menu covers most tastes, Pizza, Crepe/Gallette's etc. We had the Gallette's and one of them was slightly burnt which led to a bitter taste but the other one was just fine, we also had a Goats cheese salad that was also really good. Add to that a Pichet of local rose and a nice lunch for €30.So if you're in the area give it a go. While there this time a couple did come in for take away pizza, another option.
