We picked a large pizza to share between two people. Got the 5 toppings: olives, Italian ham, red/yellow peppers, tomato and mushrooms. Unlike American pizza, the toppings were not equally distributed among the whole pizza. Instead you get 8 slices, each with its own type of topping. The thin crust is quite nice, we really liked the ham and roasted peppers. Got a glass of wine and hot tea. When additional water was asked to be brought, she brought another whole set of hot tea and charged us for 2 tea. $7 Swiss Francs for 2 teas! We asked to have it removed from our bill, as only hot water was used for the second cup.The waitress was friendly, however, she spoke very little English. Which is no bother, as we totally understand we are in Switzerland! She intermixed between Italian and French. No German or English. Located in Old Town in the City Center. Very close to our hotel and other shops.$32 Swiss Francs for the pizza, one tea, and one glass of wine.

After a long journey by train we just wanted to eat something. So we ordered some salad and a pizza. In no time we got our dishes. I have not eaten such a good pizza for many years! Normally I can not eat a whole pizza as it is to much pastry for me. But this time I ate it all.

We arrived without a reservation but there was no wait. The server took our orders but she didn't understand well English so a schnitzel came out instead of salmon. While my boyfriend was eating his schnitzel I was waiting cause they're cooking my fish. Both, meat and fish were extremely overcooked. The owner was extremely sorry for the misunderstanding and he, and the server, apologized a lot.Coffees and limoncello on the house.

Where to eat Healthy food in Brig: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We were using Brig as a convenient location between Zermatt, Fiesch, and Milan. When hunger struck, we read up on the usual suspects on TripAdvisor but we noticed both in Brig and Zermatt that the ratings and reviews didnât correspond to the ranking. This was so true for Angleterre - we had wanted to try one of the âtop-rankedâ restaurants and even attempted a reservation online, only to find out upon arrival that the restaurant was closed. We checked out a few options before choosing Angleterre. The upstairs section was a lively & modern but family-styled tables for drinks, and we didnât figure out there is a spacious upscale dining area downstairs. Our waitress was also super nice and went beyond the call of duty: she actually walked through the entire German menu with us in English, and recommended a local favorite drink Hugo. We thoroughly enjoyed the display and taste of our drinks, (large) fresh salads, gnocchi, and lamb (shown in photo). I had hoped to try their dessert but I was too full! The #15 ranking of Angleterre does not do this place justice!

We were looking for a budget hotel enroute to Zermatt, the Good Night Inn fitted the bill but the restaurant was closed at the hotel, this little Brasserie is directly across the road. We had a comfortable table at the window and the service was rapid, saying that there was a distinct lack of warmth and welcome by the young lady who looked after us, you had the feeling she was fed up with her job! The food was good and well presented, prices were midrange but not excessive, we had house wines which were excellent, good atmosphere as it was pretty full with the hotel guests. All in all a good choice.

It's ituated in Brig historic area, close to Stockalper Palace. The interior is nice though a bit classic. The staff is kind. The food is clearly Italian and yummy. The risotto is very good. Fine selection of wineNo doubt a good choiceDear Luiz44Thank you for your feedback !!

Just back from dinner there with wife and son. I had lamb with risotto, wife had beef stroganoff and son had veal sausage with rosti. And Miss Italia pizza to share among us. They were very delicious and appetising, especially with added chilli oil. The cheese risotto was salty however but with chilli oil, taste less salty. Service by waitress was friendly and efficient.
