Weâve been several times and this time we were not disappointed. We had a little wait but it was with it. The service is good and the food is great. Salads are fresh and the bread is great. A nice family restaurant that i would recommend to anyone.

Went here with friends who said the pizza was good, and they are right. One side has a bar where they have live music and the other side where you can have a conversation without the music overwhelming you. Good service and good pizza. They cut the pizza in little squares by the way, which is unusual. Prices are where they need to be as well.
We ordered takeout from Doms 53 after JUST moving to the area. We were told it would be ready in 25 minutes, so we were there as expected. After waiting ANOTHER 25 minutes at the restaurant, our food STILL was not ready. The hostess and bartender only apologized. Never offered to get a manager, compensate us for the nearly hour wait for a to-go order, or anything to try and make it up to us. We even mentioned that this was our very first experience with their restaurant!!! Yes, the restaurant looked a little busy, but we had to-go food, no need for someone to wait on us! And clearly, the order wasn't even put into the system until AFTER we arrived to pick it up. Either that, or it just takes entirely too long to make some Italian sub sandwiches and pasta! The food was good, average at best, and certainly not worth the wait. Maybe we'll try it again (it is the only Italian we've found in the nearby area), but going inside to eat next time. Still not convinced, I've had the same quality at the mall food court...

Italian/American Best of both worlds. Come by and give us a try and you WILL keep coming back. We strive to give that Italian feel with a little bit of American atmosphere. Our food is huge as an Italian would have it, but with great American prices. Come
Missed opportunities = regret and disappointment. Overall - it was a positive experience at our early dinner with just a few simple issues that kept it from being top tier. Staffing for a busy weekend can create a trainwreck of thought for the waitstaff who are wandering about - chatting with their co-workers while awaiting the crowd. The nice gal who was taking our order was seemingly preoccupied, and missed the fact that we'd cancelled the cocktail order. She was then visibly upset when she brought it and we told her there'd been a misunderstanding - for which we apologized "if we weren't clear". Next - maybe it's a north Georgia kinda specialty that requires an acquired taste - but the bowl of gelatinous margarine with chopped parsley that was served with a nice fresh loaf of bread fell well short of a bowl of quality olive oil .... "oleo" may sound like olive oil - I don't know....? Our side salads were served on platters and the generous portions of pasta on each order were delicious - and sufficient to feed the entire Walton family. We appreciate the efforts in providing good value with large portions - maybe a senior's portion could be offered along with the kid's menu...? The seating was comfortable, environment was clean, the food nicely prepared and presented - just need to work on the simple stuff....

The thin pizza here is excellent. Have not tried anything else but the other food looked very good also. Counter help is always friendly. $2 PBR to wash it down means I'll definitely be returning. Décor and atmosphere is super casual so come with proper expectations.

We had just moved to the area that day. Someone told us about the pizza place. It was great!! Very Chicago like.
