We've been to the small restaurant Terra Nuova several times this year and can recommend it. The food (pasta, pizza, but also fish or meat dishes) is very good and they have a nice choice of tasty Italian wines.â The pizza is excellent, it tastes like one we ate in Italy several years ago.â There is a good variety of pasta dishes and the ones we've eaten so far were great.The style is modern and minimalist, with a calm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are moderate. On weekend evenings its hard to get a table and reservations should be made earlier that day.

When i was in Bielefeld, I was brought here by locals(friends) that told me it was the best Pizza in town and a brand new place I remember the menu to be kind of small but it didn't matter as the food was very goodi remember having had great white wine as well The staff was very friendly and ready to help in english when my German was failing me The venue is very nice,i liked the style with the brichs inside and keeping the soul of the house mixing it with very modern itemsgreat palce for a romantic evening or an evening with friend when you want to talk I'll definitely come back here next time i am in Bielfeld

This restaurant is situated in the middle of one of the smaller villages that became a part of Bielefeld a couple of decades ago but it still has some rural charakter and a nice setting with a small outside area for good weather. It is owned by a rich person who keeps it as a sort of hobby so the chef is free in his creations and the prices are well below what one could expect. The kitchen is a mixture of mediterranean and german (do not worry) in a very elegant way and you can get some interesting new creations and compositions. You can actually have a look at the kitchen team to see what they are doing. They do offerset menus in case the menu has too many options for you. btw the menu changes regularly with the season and only contains about a dozen or so items which in itself is always a good sign. The waiters do have a bit of a dry humor but if you test it out you can have a wonderful evening in a casual setting with really great food. And expect to be staffed by the end of the evening as well. The wine menu is extensive and does offer a good choice for reasonable prices.

Visited this Restaurant on a Wednesday Evening and no booking was required.The staff were friendly and helpful. After hearing my attempts to order in German the waiter informed me an English menu was available if required.The restaurant was clean, modern and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm.The menu was quite basic (Trattoria) we ordered a Pizza and a Lasagne which were both very good. The portions were large.The service was excellent and the prices for both food and drinks were very reasonable.

Das De Sia ist seit Jahren einer der besten Italiener der Stadt. Leckere Pizza, selbstgemachte Nudeln und immer häufiger frischen Fisch auÃerhalb der normalen Karte. Unsere Seezunge war super. Ein netter, freundlicher Familienbetrieb. Ohne Reservierung keine Chance. Gerne wieder.

Bar Central has become a regular haunt for us,due to the fact that the food is always well cooked and very tasty.Never had any fault with anything that we have ordered.The service is excellent,attentive yet not too intrusive.This is well worth a visit,cooking is done in an open plan kitchen,always a good sign.We will be visiting it again,very soon!

This is a really good place to eat and something of a gem, hidden away on the ridge over Bielefeld. Def worth a visit but be aware, the menu is only in German. I will be going again in summer when the terrace will be amazing but I suspect it will wise it book then.

Booking is recommended - this is a tiny restaurant in the town centre and seems to be very popular. We really enjoyed our meal and were served with excellent wine, with a proper Italian espresso to finish up with. Cheerful staff and the fact that you can actually see your food being prepared in the miniscule kitchen are a bonus.
