Every time I visit or stay at Benahavis we make a point of having lunch at this brilliant restaurant. The staff are particularly friendly especially if you try your pigeon Spanish! The food is fresh, made to order and excellent value for money. As per previous reviews the pizza is especially good but do try "la Canela" burger......brilliant change from the usual fast food burger joints. Set in the main street it has a perfect location to watch the locals go by but to be honest they seem to spend most of their time in the restaurant having "raciones un poco" and a "pequeña cerveza"!!

I fell in love with this restaurant where I basically go everyday when I'm around. The food served is excellent, although sometimes little mistakes are made. But dare to tell the chef, John Patrick, and you'll be rewarded by his dedication to fulfilling any of your desire to correct.Besides that, I just have good things to say about Alma Zen. Easy to park, great service (Cristina is very professional), good free Internet connect, the best sport TV channels to watch, and excellent food.I've got 2 favorites: the lobster maki and the 3 quinoa salad. 100% natural fruit juices they'll squeeze you at the moment.Go there with no hesitation, you'll really be delighted.
