We have eaten here often and the food varies from time to time. We have ordered pizza to take home and two out of three times the food was burned. We still give them a chance because the food is good ( when it isn't burned ).
Very taste ice-cream. I ordered an Eiscafe which was a combination of creamy ice-cream, strong aromatic coffee and classic whipped cream. Service very friendly!

Solid Italian place in Bayreuth with attentive service and nice choice of Italian dishes including pasta and pizza. Beware, the pizza is HUGE! Really, for two to share or maybe even 3... Nice ambiance and very nice music while we were there. Grazie mille, Alena!

More than 30 years ago I started to become a regular at Alfredo Aquenza's Gottsmanngruener (today just Gott's because Gottsmannsgruener was too long...). The pasta dishes in the little restaurant were legendary. Still owned by the same family not much has changed...

My husband's family took us to dinner at PizzaRia on 01/10/15. Restaurant was a little out of the way & had it not been for my in-laws living in Bayreuth I would never have found this place. It was situated on the upper floor of a brown brick building facing a large car park & had a lovely terrace area for al fresco dining. We had reserved a table for six which was lucky as the restaurant was extremely busy for a Thursday evening. The menu offered typical Italian dishes like pizza; pasta; lasagne. I opted for the Funghi Pizza (mushroom) which was very enjoyable & my hubby chose the lasagne. Although the cocktails were expensive (â¬8.95) I did enjoy their Mojitos. Service was slightly slow with us frantically having to catch the attention of staff as they rushed by but they were always polite & helpful. The big shock of the night was when my hubby went to pay the bill (approx â¬94 for six people) & he was told the restaurant does not accept credit cards except an EC card (not sure if this means a cheque-card or a Eurocard). It was lucky my brother-in-law stepped up & paid or my hubby & I would have had to wash a lot of dishes!!I did enjoy my meal at PizzaRia but probably wouldn't go out of my way to return. I would rather stick to the main streets of Bayreuth I am more familiar with.

Excellent-- perfect location near the Festspielhaus, so you can have lunch or even an early dinner before the (usually very long) opera. They have special pre-opera menus, to ensure you won't be late. The service is good, speaks several languages, and the food was very good.

Came here with family of 5. We have chosen the place because it was close to highway and well reviewed in TripAdvisor. It did not disappoint, the kids like the pizza while the adults chose vegetarian pasta variation from the daily menu.Good value for money, fast and friendly service as well as nice atmosphere. Would come again!

This is a semi-Italian restaurant. Nice dining room with spacious seating. Good food, although the carpaccio was - as so often - not completely unfrozen. Service a bit strange, for example walking up to a table with the dirty dishes from another table or not saying goodbye when leaving. Reasonably priced.

We booked to eat here before we left England as we knew the inside was very small. The day we went the weather was wonderful so lots of tables set up in the street which had a very good atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and efficient and mostly spoke some English. We had Brushetta to start with but it was very disappointing, just warm bread, not crispy, spread with tasteless goop. The main course was much better, their take on tagliata, 3 pieces of sizzling beef and a plate of salad. There are lots of really great places to eat in Bayreuth but I wouldn't recommend this as one of them.

There are some pretty rave reviews about this place and from my experience, they're justified. I had a sensationally fresh and tasty salad followed by one of the most outstanding thin, crispy based pizzas I've ever enjoyed. The place is basic and quite small, but the service is lovely and the prices incredibly reasonable. Highly recommended!
