This is my favorite restaurant in Bayonne. It's comfortable and never over-crowded. The service at this family owned restaurant is always top notch. The food is amazing. Great Italian menu. The bar is fully stocked and the bartender(s) well trained. You can't go wrong.

My wife and I dined here yesterday on the recommendation from friends of ours who live in Bayonne and who also accompanied us last evening. All I can say is, wow what a time we had! I did some preliminary research of this restaurant by reading reviews from Tripadvisor and Yelp and it seemed like past diners either loved this restaurant, or hated it due mostly to issues other than the food. Well, we loved the eccentricity of this restaurant because there is no other like it. Fake palm trees decorated with Christmas lights, actual Christmas decorations all throughout the restaurant (this is April!), throw pillows all around the tables. C'mon, this is different! But enough about the ambiance of this quaint restaurant. How about the food? The food was excellent, homemade Italian meals cooked by Angelina and presented to your table by her son, John Paul, who's hilarious and should be a comic on the side. To begin the evening, we were given two loaves of warm, crispy italian bread and then ordered rounds of drinks and two appetizers - a fantastic tomato and mozz salad and a pail (yes, I said a PAIL) of mussels in a red sauce. Believe me when I say these two appetizers could have fed six people instead of four. I didn't actually count the amount of mussels in this heaping pail, but there had to be at least five dozen mussels. That's 60 for you readers who may have problems with math. We then ordered our entrees, with three of us choosing their "famous" chicken parmigiana and my wife opting for the manicotti in meat sauce. We all loved it, though none of us even made a dent in it. I usually don't take pictures of my entrees in restaurants but I included a picture of the chicken parmigiana here, as well as a picture of our cannoli dessert, which was also very good. If you're not in a rush (don't go here if you just want to eat and run) and you want very good Italian food in a "trance-like" setting, try this restaurant. I hear they may be closing this year after 40 years in the business, so give it a try before they shut their doors. You'll want to remember this place for a long time. It's so so different!

High quality dining, elegant private parties and five star service are waiting for you at Da Noi in Bayonne, New Jersey. Step through our doors and you will find outstanding service, cozy ambiance, and an outstanding menu that is perfect for an both roman
We stopped in Bayonne for lunch at the recommendation of a local. Da Noi is about as old school Italian as you get. From start to finish our meal at Da Noi was terrific. We were lucky enough that they were serving their homemade meatballs as an appetizer the day we were in town. That along with an antipasto plate of various cheeses and olives were the perfect way to start. The lunch specials were filled with great fish dishes although I deferred to the bolognese. The service was as good as the food. Highly recommend.

This was a nice surprise restaurant in the heart of Bayonne, NJ. Fresh salads, reasonable wine list, lots of options on their extensive menu. Out of our party of 10, only 1 complaint about the food which was for the Chicken Parm which I did not sample. This food expert (my son) making the complaint has sampled Chicken Parm all over the world. I think he is a reliable source but no matter as there are lots of other options. I had the stuffed chicken. I would return to Bayonne just for that. It was outstanding! I sampled the veal marsala-also very good. The dessert menu was somewhat limited but solid choices with chocolate cake and creme brulee. Dessert has to be really special for me to have it. These desserts were 1 fork full and done. It is a large restaurant with a full bar. It was not crowded when we were there early on a Saturday evening.

Absolutely unacceptable â see photo a long hair in the pizza - Iâm so grossed out Iâm going to vomit. The managerâs response - weâll put a credit on your account. Why?!!!? Iâll never eat there again. Bad practice - shame on them â no excuse for this.

With two Kitchens, and while one is always staffed by an Italian Grandmother, we simultaneously feature a Grandmother from another country cooking up their cultural cuisine.. We are proud to present, Nonnas of the World! thank you for supporting our effor
I took my friend there,it was her first time. The night we were there, grandmas frm Italy and Turkey were in the kitchen. We opted for Italian. We started with Fiore di Zucca(Three baked zucchini blossoms stuffed with hard-boiled egg, ham, and mozzarella).I had Braciole di Carne(Tender rolls of veal filled with vegetable and mozzarella cheese cooked in red sauce. Served with side vegetables). My friend had Lasagna della Nonna (Sheets of pasta layered with beef and pork ragu, ricotta and mozzarella in a tomato sauce). I had a glass of wine-Grandpa ChaCha- light red wine(not too dry). We ended with a Cannoli (Italian pastries stuffed with fresh, in-house made cannoli cream and chocolate chips). I had an Espresso, I asked if they had anisette(Sambucca), which they did and I put some in my coffee, I was not charged for the few drops I used. Most restaurants pour you a shot and charge you. This was a very pleasant surprise. Everything we ate was so delicious. The zucchini blossoms are only available for a short while, eat them while you can!! This braciole was the best I've had since Mom passed. The lasagna was equally as great..The wait staff is wonderful, very attentive. Reservations are strongly suggested.

It's a mom and pop place run by two Italians (a married couple) who KNOW THEIR FOOD! My husband and I have eaten here for years and never once gotten a pizza. For all I know, the pizza may be fabulous. But we concentrate on the pasta (fantastic) and the appetizers. I get the mixed mushrooms with sundried tomatoes every time it's offered as a special appetizer. I've never had a better appetizer in my life, not even in high-end restaurants in NYC. If you're not hugely hungry, this appetizer, along with bread, will certainly fill you up. The pasta is wonderful and plentiful. Have never had bad pasta here, and often it's better than almost anywhere else, including Italy. The bread with olive oil flavored with garlic, red pepper and herbs, is so good you'd be tempted to start every meal with it, but whenever we do our appetites are ruined for the appetizers and dinner! My husband has ordered the mixed seafood special with linguine and 1/2 lobster a couple of times and he LOVES it. I like lobster, but only if it is not overcooked and tough, which is almost impossible to find, but the last time my husband ordered it and offered me some I was pleasantly surprised because it was perfectly cooked. No toughness at ALL.The salads are good, the pasta is excellent, and the appetizers are hearty and wonderful. Look at the specials, too. They change with the season and are well worth exploring. The mozzarella caprese in season is excellent (wait til tomatoes are ripe). I've enjoyed the eggplant rolatini and the garden salad, too, but if you order two appetizers and two pastas (for two) it's way too much food. You can easily order one appetizer and one pasta and feed two people, no problem. Or else take home LOTS of food, because the portions are very generous. The tables are either pretty small or very large (and are often combined for big parties), with red fabric tablecloths, and it's a real mom and pop vibe, not fancy at all. It may be crowded on a weekend night, but the food is worth the wait. BYOB - and people DO -- and sit yourself down for an authentic Italian meal. You won't be disappointed - plus the prices are VERY fair. Even though we've moved away from the immediate Bayonne area, we go back to San Vito's when the mood for Italian hits because we've never found another place in NJ that even comes CLOSE to the deliciousness of San Vito's.The only down side - the service can be a little iffy. Some of the wait staff is very good, some are not, and often the servers are a bit young and inexperienced. Sometimes an older wait person is there with more experience, but don't be put off, because the FOOD is what is special here.

Craving Italian? Buon Appetito in Bayonne, NJ, has something for every taste. Delicious homemade pastas and raviolis, traditional chicken and veal dishes, garden fresh vegetables and top notch seafood dishes, all this, in a relaxed still elegant atmospher
You can't go wrong at Buon Appetito, very reasonable prices, great food in generous portions. The only drawback, they have no parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking, though take care to feed the parking meters, or your meal will end up more expensive than planned.

We dined at Deninoâs last night and had a great time. They have greatly expanded the menu. We didnât order any, but there are plenty of appetizers and salads to select now. We had our standard pie with half sausage. It was delicious! I tried their cheesecake which was excellent as was the espresso.

Nice ambiance. Great bread. Great food. Great service! My litmus test for an Italian restaurant is Linguine and White Clam Sauce, and Cafe Bello's is excellent. Even their meatballs are very good, which is unusual for a restaurant. Fair pricing. Parking is very limited but worth the hassle. Highly recommended!
