Reviews on Italian food in Barrow-in-Furness, England, United Kingdom. Barrow-in-Furness /ˈbæroʊ ɪn ˈfɜːrnəs/ FUR-nəs, commonly known as Barrow, is a town and borough in Cumbria, England. Historically part of Lancashire, it was incorporated as a municipal borough in 1867 and merged with adjacent districts in 1974 to form the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness. At the tip of the Furness peninsula, close to the Lake District, it is bordered by Morecambe Bay, the Duddon Estuary and the Irish Sea. In 2011, Barrow's population was 57,000, the second largest urban area in Cumbria, after Carlisle. Natives of Barrow, as well as the local dialect, are known as Barrovian.

I used to be a regular here but after receiving my food each time, I'd discover there was an error. Sometimes it was only a minor error like a wrong flavoured sauce but most of the time, something has been missing from my order, or replaced with something else.I decided to give it another go recently but everytime I seem to order on Justeat, they immediately cancel it and go offline so a review can't be left. There's no explanation for cancelling said orders and absolutely no communication from staff whatsoever.It may be nice food when you order fresh, but I recommend not to expect a good quality takeaway. It's a shame.

I have been twice to this buffet restaurant in the past month. The food is delicious and made with taste and flavour in mind. There are three main world cuisines to chose from including; Italian, Chinese and Indian. There are a few other Asian dishes too-for example pork adobo which is a tasty Filipino pork dish. The staff seem very helpful and welcoming. If you like good hearty food and have a big appetite I recommend Barrow fiesta. The dessert section is also enticing with an ice cream machine and selection of cakes, toppings and treats.

Popped in on spec yesterday evening, friendly staff seated us quickly. A nice atmosphere drinks order taken quickly, a very extensive menu, food was served quickly and was superb. Large portions of very tasty authentic, fresh food. I will be back again soon

In my opinion this is by far the best takeaway in Barrow, the only negative being the difficulty you have getting through on the phone when you try to order around 17.30hrs, due to how bust they are. Great Italian food provided by the staff and very good value for money

I would really recommend booking a table at Salvanas, simply because it is so popular with great food, great atmosphere and great staff. Went with colleagues from work approximately 17 of us. Everything went without any confusion, the staff are so well organised.
