We had a lovely simple meal in Biogourmands. We have been travelling in Alsace for 1 week and have been overwhelmed by the slabs of meat being presented as dinner options. We normally try to eat only small quantities of red meat and we don't eat pig products so dining in Alsace is a challenge. Tonight we had a lovely vegetable soup (with a bit of sliced sausage) followed by a chicken breast in an onion sauce, roast potato pieces and salad.This simple organic meal was much appreciated when we have to eat out every evening as we are travelling. Grandiose! Il n'y a que des pizzas. La carte n'est pas surchargée. Les pizzas sont fabuleuses, faites avec des produits frais et de qualité. Que dire? Juste un goût exquis. Bravo au chef. Toutes nos assiettes étaient vides, on a vraiment tout manger.

We stayed there with 2 kids (after a very long day). We waited 10 minutes to get a menu and other 10 minutes to order. After a long waiting we finally received the plates (a simple pasta with butter and cheese for the kids....they add pepper on....no comment and 2 pizzas). The food was pretty poor. I suppose that nobody of the staff has ever been in Italy. The menu reports typing errors in Italian language...

Nous avions pris une tarte flambée au munster pour une personne dans le but d'en faire un apéritif à 3 et elle à finalement presque fait notre repas !L'avantage est la rapidité de fabrication de ces dernières ( moins de 10 minutes d'attente)

Went to this restaurant in the quiet town of Barr in Alsace mainly because it was a Tuesday night and nothing else was open. It was quite busy but we were able to sit outside. Kids liked it becasue they had many pastas and pizzas available on the menu. Also ordered was a scallop of veal which was quite good with a nice sauce but not very filling. About 90e for 4 with a bottle of Italian wine. Good restaurant for families.

Very welcoming and friendly service and staff. The home made pasta dishes were simply divine, very filling, served in a relaxing, comfortable and roomy premises. The perfect way to finish a walking tour of a beautiful village.
