Definitely, not what I expected. I was on a 1-night business trip to Bonn, read the wonderful reviews here and decided to take 7 guests to a business dinner, which I expected to be as great as the reviews here. And it was not. The menu is small, almost entirely pasta dishes that were, at best,ordinary. The meat pasta had very little meet, and the shrimps in the prawn pasta were extremely dry. two of the three appetizers we ordered were good, and we ended up ordering more of them. There was only one desert, which was OK. I can say that my guests were not impressed, and that this is definitely not a place for a business dinner. I guess it is an OK place for a simple family dinner, however, be aware- they do NOT accept credit cards!! So at the end of the evening, when I came to pay the bill, I found out that they did not accept credit, which got me into an unpleasant situation because overnight business travelers do not carry a lot of cash.... I think it would have been appropriate to at least tell me that they only accept cash when I called to reserve a table for 7, and clearly explained I was coming from another country. Overall, a disappointing experience at L'unico.

I used to live in BH and this was a frequent place I would eat for the Salad Bay. It's so yummy with Doner meat and these awesome little rolls. I love this place!

The service here was slow. We waited for 25 minutes to order something, our group had ordered before.The salads were good and there was much to eat.We had more drinks on the bill than we really had. When I talked to the waiter, there remained 3 E. too much on the bill in the end. Staff is quite unfriendly.

This restaurant specialises in Italian food but for the german palette, also with website and menus only available in German.We were quite disappointed by the service, didn`t feel entirely welcomed.The starters were excellent (all 4 of our group went for fish options, anti-pasto misto, Fish soup, baby squid salad).For main courses, we had the monkfish, mixed fish dish and rack of lamb. My wife found the fish a bit underseasoned / dry and not at the same standard as the starters. Rack of lamb was excellent.Despite the service, one of the best meals I`ve had in Bonn.

Allesandro's is an excellent little Gelateria located in a charming part of Bad Honnef known as Rhondorf near St. Mary's Chapel. The owner, whom I met, is very inventive and experiments with seasonal flavors. I LOVED the pistachio gelato and also the peach and mocha flavors! And, the spaghetti gelato plate is so playfully delicious!!!! They also make a great espresso. Being family owned and operated makes it especially warm and friendly! If you like gelato, this place is a must visit!!!!

A real hidden surprise. Seems to be nothing special from the main street entrance, but a fabulous restaurant with nice garden seating in the back. Honest, very fresh food. We had a super good "Flammkuchen", best we ever had. Accompanied by a nice glass of local Riesling wine, we will come back !

As you can see, the largest number of reviews are in German, which speaks well for the place. Our friends took my wife and me there one evening for pizza, and ours was excellent. We also enjoyed the wine chosen by our hosts. To finish the meal I had an intensely lemon-flavored dessert which was wonderful.Everyone else from the party of six was pleased with their meals. We would return in a heartbeat.

When we first viisted this excellent restaurant the lady that owned it was the most friendly, accommodating person I had met in Germany as well as an excellent cook. The new team are just as good and maybe even a little better. Can hardly get a table any more.

We have been invited out for lunch from a customer.We have order a mixed appetizers that were nice but nothing special. Some fish salad, sone grilled vegetables and so on.As a main dish I have ordered the Tagliolini with truffle, really excellent!I like that dish that i found very well done, really tasty.I like that restaurant that has the location really Italian style arranged in a proper and elegant way.One if the best choice in Bad Honnef.In case I'll go there again and I'll recommend it.
