Italian version of tapas. Incredible selection of small to medium-portion-sized plates (not dinner platter sized plates). Only serve Italian wines; great selection as well. We loved their Lambrusco Rose! Everything we ordered is delicious and divine (the lasagna, mussels, panzarotti, tondini, etc.). Nice location across the river with outside seating on a beautiful summer night. Service is superb - she was friendly & attentive. We immensely enjoyed our dining experience here and it was probably one of the best we had in Bordeaux. The prices are above average due to heavy tourist zone.

Situated in the heart of the historical district of « Saint Pierre », the WINE BAR is a unique place in Bordeaux. In a warm bistro atmosphere, this authentic wine bar is an essential port of call for wine lovers, with its original selection of wines from a
Expect the place to be busy. We were having some wine before dinner. The owner is extremely charming, knowledgable, and intelligent. He speaks at least 4 languages if I remember correctly. He guided us to a nice bottle of wine and a great appetizer. We sat out on the patio because there was no space inside. If I come back to Bordeaux I'm definitely coming back to this place with an actual reservation.Add it to your list!

Frankly we were not very well received. First thing the lady told us was : You can seat but you are going to wait a lot. The lady was serving the tables alone and we had the impression that perhaps some staff was missing. The restaurant is not so small and of course when the weather is nice people like to seat at the terrace. The waiting time was really a lot. The waitress did not offer was anything like bread, some apetizer or drinks to improve the long waiting time. She seemed to give only attention to the usual clients and on her mind, perhaps she thought that we were occasional turists so why bother. She passed many times near our table empty handed and after 30 min. she finnaly took our order. Instead of going directly to the kitchen to start it, she went to another table and started to chat with them, etc. The pizza had a nice crust, but she brought the wrong ones. We even did not complain about it because we were already enough. The high point was to see a family working togheter. Her kids helped her out and they were more efficient and sympathetic than her. In 10 minutes they cleaned up our tables but she only came to take the order after about 30 minutes.

Nofa is a small «boutique restaurant» with Italian influences, located near Place Pey-Berland in the heart of downtown Bordeaux. On the menu, the recipes are featuring ingredients imported from Italy, cooked with French passion, with vegetarian friendly o
This place is such a gem, I had a lovely welcome when entering the restaurant itself (I hadnât booked). Itâs a family run affair and they all seemed to really enjoy it too. Just to pre-warn this isnât a single dish place, you have to order 2-3 course and trust me itâs worth it and itâs not overpriced at all.I went for two courses, a starter and a main (Plus some lovely wine). You have to try the salmon. This is quite a simple review for me but if youâre in Bordeaux make sure you go here for dinner - You will not be disappointed!!All the team is very happy to read those lines ! Thank you so much and we hope to have the pleasure to welcome you another time ! The Nofa team

We made a reservation but were running late so it was lovely that they could still accommodate us on the evening that we visited. With only 12 chairs for diners, I understand how they kept having to turn people away. The pizza was excellent and it was great to see it cooked in front of you. They were also doing a good trade in take-away, and as the place is so small there were occasions when it got really smoky inside.

I must say, we don't always do well when arriving in new places at odd times of the day, so checking out this place, right next door to the Formule motel where we stayed, turned out to be one of our luckier finds. They had a good, varied menu, reasonably priced and just happened to have the pizzas we fancied. We had a good value carafe of Bordeaux house wine, which wasn't at all bad, and couldn't help but notice the meals of our fellow diners looking very appetising.A pleasant and comfortable environment, even on a cool, wet day, helped us relax and enjoy a thoroughly decent meal. The staff were friendly and we were able to drink plentifully, knowing it was only fifty metres from our beds.Definitely recommended. Thank you for your comment

Well, after trying for three years, we finally managed to make a dinner reservation on a night and at a time that was suitable for us! It definitely was worth persevering because we were not disappointed at all.Service was extremely good and friendly. Menu was small with one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian option. But what they had was excellent. We would definitely come back again...if we can plan ahead and make the booking in advance.

Friendly unhurried & attentive service, in comfortable & relaxed surroundings that refreshingly bared no ressemblance to a chain. We enjoyed a good bottle of Bordeaux and four good Pizza's.We ordered their 'Café Tiramisu' option instead of dessert, which seemed a little steep as comprised expresso and expresso sized tiramisu but nonetheless delicious and we certainly didn't need the full sized version! Would recommend and would be happy to return for more.
