We are a locally owned restaurant in Arlington, VA that believes in the power of Italian Hospitality, Wine and Cooking to express our love of Italian Traditions and Culture.
This restaurant is absolutely superb! When we arrive at Regan National Airport all we can think of is getting to Ninoâs as soon as possible. The fried oysters are the best we have EVER eaten and that includes New Orleans. The squid ink pasta with seafood is delicious and rarely found on menus. The bread and dipping oil are dangerous because you want to eat the entire basket. Nino is gracious and welcoming. Josephâs service was efficient but unobtrusive. This is one of our favorite restaurants not only in Arlington but also metro DC. We actually fly from Pittsburgh to eat there.

We opened Pizzeria Paradiso so we could make the kind of pizza we longed for but couldnât find in the DC area; the kind of pizza where the crust was the most important part. To create that crust, we start with a wood-burning, domed, stone oven able to coo
Very thin crust and loaded with flavor. Eight of us ordered an assortment of custom pizzas. We had pork sausage, and meatballs on a 12" pie for 2 of us. Yummy !! We were starving and it fiiled us up. Rest of group had other toppings, including an egg. One of our crowd had a nice looking salad. I wish they had a Cesar salad, but they didn't. Everyone ate all their pizzas, and we sent empty plates back to kitchen. Very sweet and friendly wait staff. The place was packed!!! (Saturday evening) Really too noisy for me, but I guess that's Georgetown on a summer weekend. I had to speak loudly to my dinnermates, in order to be heard. If you can take the high level of excited conversation, it's great pizza.

The restaurant of choice of many distinguished diners and restaurant critics, Ristorante La Perla of Washington, located near Georgetown at the tail-end of the historic Pennsylvania Avenue, takes its diners on a culinary journey through Italy with elegant
The entrance to the restaurant suggests the entrance to a beautiful residence -- small flower garden, patio. Inside, a tasteful decor and well-spaced out tables. We had the branzino and venison, both of which were cooked at the right temperature and with herbs that would enhance the taste. The wine list has a good range. The service was attentive without being obtrusive.

Lovely seafood restaurant on the Potomac waterfront in Georgetown. The evening was very nice with good food and service, but $500 for two cocktails, two courses and a bottle of Pinot Grigio did leave us a little shocked. If you cannot be shocked by a dinner bill it is a good place to eat.

Tuscarora Mill's owners and chef have created a winning pizza restaurant by opening Fire Works in Leesburg in 2006. Next comes our "city-fied" addition of the ultimate pizzeria and bar. How do we do it? Great pizzas from the five-ton wood fired oven , a s
Loved the steak salad- it had a really good quality steak and lots of it. People liked their pizzas a lot. Service was quick and we had a lot of us to feed at once. The crew goes here often because food quality is generally high and prices are reasonable.

Food is good with decent portions. Restaurant in evening is dimly lit and relaxed. Tables aren't in top of eachother which is nice. It's in a small strip mall with numerous other counter service or casual find in restaurants, hence the parking issue (lot isn't very big). Main downfall like other reviews mention.

True to my review in 2017, I was back in DC and had another wonderful dinner. The place is all decked out for Halloween. The service is spot on. The portions are still gigantic and delicious. Again, no room for dessert. Some day, I may come and have only an appetizer and pig out on dessert. I can hardly wait for my next DC trip.

This was our first time eating here and it was awesome. We had the garlic pizza and it was the best that we ever had. Service and staff were great! It is worth the visit.

This place is without equal (except for its sister location in Rosslyn, of course) for real Italian subs. It's a hopping tempo at lunchtime so expect a wait at the sandwich counter. Somehow, the sandwiches are unique - I have no idea how they accomplish that in such a crowded field. It's fun being in a gourmet Italian food shop (like a really small Eataly) so the atmosphere and decor make a big impact on the positive vibes. It's hard to drive through Westover without stopping - especially since there's such a great outdoor patio area (with a "Vespa Parking Only" area) for al fresco dining.
