We started with freshly made bread and dipping oil, then the caprese salad, then the PASTA AL FORNO (Oven baked Rigatoni with Bolognese sauce, bechamel and parmesan cheese) and finished with tiramisu, all accompanied by nice bottle of Dolcetto (sleeked from an impressive wine list). Everything was excellent. The server was efficient, attentive and knowledgeable.

Their food is always well presented and some of the entree's look amazing. I stopped in for lunch recently and had a great mocha and a burger with mac and cheese. The burger was a little greasy for my liking and the mac and cheese was a bit bland. The service was great and the atmosphere was really cool. I will be back for supper.

Whenever we visit Ames, this is the place we go first and for the best pizza in town. A bit expensive, especially when you have it delivered. But we order a large in order to enjoy leftovers. We highly recommend this pizzeria with other good items on the menu as well.

We have never been there but heard good reviews about the pizza. And hey, that shopping center is where restaurants go to die and they haven't died, so must be worth a shot. The waitress gave the kids (6 and 4) some pizza dough to play with while we waited for our order to cook. That was nice. So we ordered our pizza: half spicy sausage and half pepperoni. It was $23 for the family including 2 sodas. Decent deal for a sit down joint. But it is a once-and-done place for us. The pizza was Sssssooooooo boooorrrringg. And I normally prefer less spice so for me to say it was boring, it was pretty bad. Pizza sauce tasted like it came directly out of a can. No zip, zing, or anything special. The spicy sausage was not spicy. The crust was more on the overdone side for our taste. And had we let it, the cheese would have slid right off the pizza. No idea why this place was so busy based on what we tasted.
