When you keep it simple you're going to get it spot-on! The pizza is light and soft, super thin and full of flavour. The tomatoes are sweet and tangy, there's the perfect amount of cheese and the quality of the topings is first class. I couldn't get enough! To top it off, I've not had a better macchiato anywhere else in town. The staff and friendly and attentive. Really looking forward to going back!

Padrone Pizza is a very nice restaurant with lovely views across the fifth of Clyde .The staff are friendly and very efficient .The food is authentic Italian , very tasty and served with a smile .

We sailed into Rhu and one of the other visitors recommended this place. We tried to make a booking but were told that they were full but if we turned up they might fit us in. We were duly provided with a table. We all had pizzas and all agreed that they were very good. Staff all friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. The decor was fine if uninspiring and the chairs / tables basic. Tables a bit too close. Had they confirmed a booking for us and if the place was a bit more comfortable they might have got an excellent.

We had drinks in here on a recent visit to Helensburgh and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the place! My husband and me remembered it as "the Imperial Hotel" back in the 70's when he was still in the Royal Navy... what a transformation! A very calm, interesting and peaceful venue - especially remembering the days of the "old Imps"! The staff were very helpful and the menu looked to be very good - I'm sure we'd have stayed to sample the food had not the grandchildren had their hearts set on fish suppers!We're so happy to have brought those fond memories! Thank you for your visit. We're bringing the hotel back soon so hopefully we'll see you again, maybe this time you'll stay with us for a night :)

The prices are very reasonable. We all had the cooked breakfast. The sausages were cheap and really quite awful. Otherwise the food was good. A smile to strangers on entering cafe would make a difference. Only locals seemed to get a welcome.Please, please buy better sausages it would make a good breakfast great!

Angeliniâs is just the best! Great food, great staff and the red wine is fab. I do have one complaint tho....itâs too good! I think Iâm addicted, I was thinking of starting a group called AA but itâs taken , so Iâll call it PA, pizza anonymous! Came here for lunch Tuesday and cannot compliment the staff enough both for their friendliness and their accommodations for dietary restrictions. I am newly diagnosed lactose intolerant and Allan was great and allowed me to switch out regular cheese and mayo for vegan cheese and mayo (did have to pay £1 supplement for the cheese). Love that I can still get a great tasting bacon cheeseburger even with my new condition. Looking forward to returning very soon.

Had a lunch here recently ,food was ok ,seems to have dipped a bit recently.A word of warning ,the sparkling water is straight out of a soda stream without the fizz ,£1.90 poor quality and same price for still water straight out the tap.,Pellegrini is on menu at £1.70 so request that.What I did notice was its starting to look a bit tired in places inside and out .Disappointed.
