Reviews on Israeli food in Jerusalem, Jerusalem District, Israel. Religious pilgrims have been traveling to Jerusalem for centuries, yet you don’t have to share their zeal in order to appreciate this city’s profound cultural and historical significance. Plan on seeing the major sights, but also leave plenty of time to walk through the streets and simply immerse yourself in the daily life of such an ancient and revered place.

BeerBazaar, based in the heart of the Jerusalem Market, features over 100 local Israeli craft beers and delicious food prepared with fresh, local market ingredients. Our shelves are filled with Israeli beers from all over the country, from the Golan Heigh
We visited this bar twice in one night - once sitting outside on Jaffa Street and once sitting inside at the bar. On both occasions, the service was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable. The beers we drank were all local Israeli craft beers. I would highly recommend the Fat Cat pale ale, the 10% Belgian inspired draft beer (Essen?) and also the Bhindi. Grab some salted peanuts from one of the other traders in the markets and settle in for a solid session!

When visiting Jerusalem, should the night catch you on an empty stomach do not hesitate to go eat to the Happy fish. Far from being a seafood only restaurant you'll be surprised by the variety of its menu and the delicious side dishes you'll be served before you even order. The service is good and they make an effort to deliver the best service possible in a country where the concept of service is "different". The seafood is absolutely fantastic. Dear HappyFish Guest,It is wonderful to learn of your excellent HappyFish experience! Our team thrives on being there to make great moments happen, and will appreciate hosting more magical evenings, with delightful pleasures of the table, and with you as our guests!Sincerely,The Mamilla Hotel Management.

Spectacular outdoor brasserie dining, with magnificent panoramic views that stretch across Jerusalem's majestic Old City. With a large and varied menu for dinner, the RoofTop features fresh natural ingredients infused in simple Italian cooking. Chef: Cobi
Dining with a perfect view of the Old City walls was a lovely birthday treat! My appetizer of Roasted Bone Marrow with nuts, fresh herbs salsa, garlic, cabernet sauce & toasted spelt bread was absolutely delicious, 5 stars, & more than enough food for one meal, period. Couldâve quit there.Charcoal-grilled Entrecôte entree was only okay...flavorful, but not tender; gave away most to my husband.Desserts were all amazing, non-dairy, scrumptious & 5 stars: âFloating Islandâ with steamed meringue, lemon cream, orange yuzu sorbet & crispy mint leaves; âSnickersâ chocolate tart with peanut cream & hot salted toffee (thought it would be my favorite); & Semolina cake with sous vide apricots, pistachio streusel & apricot sorbet (as a birthday gift from the restaurant, & the best of all three). At the conclusion of the meal, our server asked us to write a review & mention her name. However, this was the only restaurant in 4 weeks in the country where this occurred, & it still leaves me with mixed feelings. I understand that servers are given a monetary bonus when positive reviews including their names are posted. But asking outright for a review in an establishment like this seemed out of character. Does management encourage it?As a compromise, I am only deducting one star for the lackluster entree. Stick to the appetizers & desserts for a fabulous dinner. Arrive early to get a seat with the best view.Happy Birthday Dear RoofTop Guest,We are very pleased to read your wonderful review! Please be assured that under no circumstances is any guest or diner required to write about us, unless they so wish. In any event, all reviews are significant to us, in our aspiration to always remain in keeping with the needs and desires of our guests. Other than how fully booked we are, they serve as indicators of our success in making our guests' wishes come true. Thanks to your candid, elaborate, and colorful review, we know of the scrumptuous 5 Star dinner you enjoyed. Your description also enables us to refer your comprehensive comments to our Executive Chef and the Restaurant's Chef, who at all times seek to spruce up all the signature in-house culinary creations, to be what our guests need them to be: delicious, impeccably presented, and unique.Your candor is rare, and in all sincerity, we appreciate it immensely! We would love for you to return for more extra special RoofTop moments.Sincerely Yours,The Mamilla Hotel Management and Team.

On a whim, we went back to this restaurant restaurant/bar after quite a few years. We were with good friends and enjoyed the ambience which is apparently designed to give the feeling of being in the underwater Blue Caves near Eilat, the outstandingly good [and I mean just that!] service, and of course the excellent food.Highly recommended! It won't take such a long time before we go back.thank you

Had a wonderful meal here. The waiter was very friendly and helped us work around several allergies. We enjoyed a light, modern atmosphere after a day visiting ancient religious sites in Old Jerusalem.

The Chefchaouen restaurant is an excellent dining place in the center of Jerusalem. Its menu includes a selection of contemporary dishes in the street food style that is currently taking the city by storm. In Chefchaouen youâll get easy-going and lied-bac
We booked a table for lunch at Sukkot. This was the result of favorable Trip Advisor evaluations. Two of us had, what the waitress called Stroganoff, although on the menu it said beef head. It had nothing to do with the well-known Stroganoff. Four very little pieces of meat floated in a red spicy sauce and some chickpeas. The taste wasn't bad but it played the role of a main course and it just didn't fulfill its role. We left hungry. The burger, both the regular and children's portions were fair in size. The Malabi was tasty on a coconut sauce basis but again a very modest dish. We paid 64 shekels for each of the so-called Stroganoffs. The cheque for four: 2 burgers and 2 Stroganoffs plus the sweets and drinks came up to exorbitant 365 shekel. For example, the kid's burger was charged 42 shekels. One Malabi: 24 shekel. 300 ml of Weihenstephan beer: 32 shekels.Hi, I'm very sorry to hear that you had bad experience at our restaurant,The hed beef dish is a special so it it's not on the menu however I understand that one of our staff told you it is strogonoff meat and I think it was a language barrier that miss lead you again I'm sorry and I really hope to have you hear again for a better experience, like you can see most of our costumers leave hear very happy and return. One more thing the weihenstephan 330ml is 28 and the 500 ml it cost 32.Thank you for the feedback I can assure you that we will learn from it and do everything we can to satisfy all of our future costumers.
