Small family bistro serving only freshest Irish ingredients, in traditional and creative way. The main goal of the PHX Bistro is to share LOVE for food!
An amazing little bistro tucked away at the bottom of Smithfield Square along the quays of the river liffey. We booked two days in advance hoping to get space for 15-20 people and they accommodated us very well. The atmosphere makes you feel relaxed while the attentive staff make sure you're having a great experience in their bistro. They were super friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely return in the very near future.Dear Peadar!Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! It was pleasure to have the group like yours! We glad to hear that food and service was up to your standards and most importantly that we will be seeing you again! First visit here for drinks & itâs a lovely little find. Slightly off the beaten track but well worth it. Car park located just opposite the bar. Bar was still fully decorated with Christmas dec. Bar accepts cash only, no cards accepted. Music session started & all musicians were so talented. Illen pipes, guitars & tin whistle, a lovely session of traditional Irish music along with some regulars taking to the mic throwing out songs from The Coronaâs. Staff were very friendly & chatty. A lovely atmosphere & will certainly return.

In a fine spacious eatery, carvery lunch is very popular. Divided into cosy dining areas, there are much dark wood features that are quite attractive.A good choice defines the carvery and we opted for the turkey and beef with lots of vegetables. Follow up was dessert comprising two cheesecake flavours. All very tasty.Staff were great, cheerful, jocular and attentive. On the walls inspiring aphorisms are to cogitated on. All things considered it was a grand break.

They offer a good choice of meals, sandwiches and snacks. Tea coffee and alcoholic beverages are available. Itâs a good place to visit for food.

Award winning bar, restaurant & wedding venue in the Strawberry Beds. Live traditional music 7 nights a week.
I was there last week for a wedding. Coming from a service background, I cannot compliment the staff enough. Despite the guys being rushed off their feet, they took time to have a bit of a chat and banter with the people attending the wedding. The food was amazing and I actually had the pleasure of tasting every course option due to my boyfriend allowing me to order for him! It is a very intimate venue, so close to dublin city centre. I just loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed the night. Great to see in a big city. Looking forward to revisiting

Went on a return visit to Rudyâs this evening for my wifeâs birthday.Had a lovely Romanian Pinot Noir which was a little unconventional but on recommendation did not disappoint.Had the wings to start- delicious. Piping hot, lovely flavour. Two steaks for mains, mine medium, wifeâs medium rare- both cooked to perfection!Dessert was hard to fit in (!) but we had the sticky toffee which again was delicious.Service was attentive but not overbearing, ambience nice and busy but not too loud.I really donât have anything negative at all to say about this place and would highly recommend it. It was very reasonable and they clearly know what they are doing. I wish there was more of this in blanch. We will be back!
