We visited last year and enjoyed the food so decided to return. Once again the food was lovely, apart from the pear & almond tart which was really dry but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I got the impression last time that staff really weren't bothered being nice to customers and it was cemented this time. We came away feeling as if by just ordering & eating food we were inconveniencing them! Would return for the food but the reception could be better.

We are a family run gastropub in the village of Partry on the Castlebar, Ballinrobe road. We are open for food from 12.30 to 9 pm 7 days a week
We ate here last Sunday for the first time, the food was good I had chicken stuffed with cream cheese, a lovely side salad and chips my partner had fish and chips both were very good, the staff are friendly and attentive we will definitely be back
If you're looking for a nice takeaway in this town, then this is the place you should definitely visit. Great food at an affordable price with friendly staff. You're sure to find something you'll like on their menu. They serve homemade chips which are so much nicer compared to the other brands you get in other takeaways. The food when served was hot and cooked and came in the traditional takeaway bags. Their fish meal is delicious and if you want a treat, then that's the one you should order. They have a special meal deal on offer each week so you will be getting a bargain on that offer.Whether you want a single meal, a family meal or a meal for a big party, they have got it covered.

Place with special history; because we live near by Valkenburg in Holland, we asked the owner about the name and we got to know the interesting history !

brought my parents here for a breakfast on our way to Westport. My Mother and I had the pancakes, my father had the large devour breakfast and coffees all round.Pancakes where fresh and tasty, my father couldnt finsih his breakfast as there was so much on offer for him to eat! And the coffee was very nice, strong and actually tasted like coffee, I find too many places take their coffee service for granted but not here. The girl serving us was bright and bubbly and couldn't have checked on us more than she didReally good value, great service and great food.Love all the little cupcake signs and novelty's around the cafe, it gives the place its own character

Four years since my last visit but still the same warm welcome. A party of six of us had a lovely meal . I decided to try the lamb chops, 3 large chops cooked to perfection with mash potato and mint gravy. Large portions and loads of veg. Hope it's not so long until our next visit.

Moved to Ballinrobe recently and decided to try out this place. So glad we did! Have tried many menu options now and always really enjoy the food! My personal favourite is the bacon waffles or the manwich! Staff are friendly and attentive, tea is fantastic and served loose leaf in a pot with a little strainer which is a lovely touch. They make us feel very welcome and don't mind us bringing the baby in in her buggy. A lovely place to go for a cuppa and lunch. Love it!

Café on two floors. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Wide selection of homemade deserts and fresh baked scones. Hearty full Irish breakfast served from 9-11.30, lunch from 12-3 and lite bites all day until 5. Also selection of sandwiches, wraps, panini
I asked for chicken Curry and rice as it was advertised on the billboard very rude response. She said they are the only place open in town and said they werenât doing specials but were advertised and soup wasnât nice My deepest apologies Joe. I do recall you asking for chicken curry and rice and my response was brusk to say the least. All boards inside the cafe displayed Happy Christmas as we were operating on the menu and no specials were being provided . The outside board was overlooked unfortunately and that was my fault...Sorry. We were in fact the only Cafe open and thankfully very busy. I know you have visited before with family and I'm upset that you had a bad experience this time. We pride ourselves on good service and attention to detail. This time I came up short and I thank you for your feedback and will make sure to provide the best service in future. Hilda Hughes.

Went with some friends to get sunday lunch. We were moved seats, then while eating got asked to leave within 5 minites although we were still eating. Servers were unwelcoming, unfriendly and highly rude whilst we were there. Will not be returning again to this establishment. Food and beverages are also highly overpriced.
