Find out what International restaurants to try in York. Just two hours north of London by rail, the city of York holds 1900 years' worth of history in its ancient walls. The Romans built the city in 71 AD, and the Vikings captured it in 866 AD. Stop by the Yorkshire Museum and Gardens for a look at what the Roman and Vikings left behind (they must have packed light when they left). From there, move on to the York Castle Museum for a not-so-quick overview of the most recent 400 years.

Small family business, creative ,authentic, very fine ingredients mixed up with your fish and meat . take away food available only if the restaurant is not too busy.
Great experience, food fantastic, just like being on holiday. Will definitely be coming again soon, and lovely to have such a wide choice of specials. Very hospitable and friendly staff too!

It's a really small, but quaint place, which fills up quickly. I called in for a coffee, but there seemed to be some interesting snacks on offer.

Osborne's is an Independent local cafe that prides itself on superb service and fantastic food. All our food is prepared daily, from fresh ingredients. We specialize in both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. We have Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian opt
Substantial English breakfast served here, but also some surprising and delicious alternatives including vegetarian and vegan options. I had a breakfast burrito which although it was delicious I struggled to finish it was so big. I tried my best though. There were other things I would have loved to try but sadly it was our last day in York. A bit off the beaten track, but well worth the 10 minute walk from the city centre. Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review about Osborne's we appreciate it very much. Hope you will call again next time you come to York.
