Things to do in Xpu-Ha
We dined at the Kabah Buffet every morning for breakfast. I asked to be seated near the Mimosa bar and the Churro bar. The buffet selections are many from fresh omelets prepared right in front of you, scrambled eggs with different meats from pulled pork to salmon to shredded beef to chicken, a huge fresh fruit table, many types of juices, Mexican pan fried tacos with either chicken or pulled pork, breads and pastry, cereals, French toast, and of course Mimosas. The Churros and donuts were fresh, hot right out of the fryer. The servers and wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. It took a little bit to get my coffee right. The server kept wanting to give me coffee with cream, but they soon understood that I wanted black coffee and lots of it (for my fresh hot Churros. We dined at the Kabah twice for dinner on our first night at the resort. We arrived at the resort late and I was tired. Wines and beer are available with your dinner. The selection is huge for dinner. Pork roast, beef, chicken, a huge salad and fresh fruit bar, and a large selection of desserts. We never dined at the Kabah for lunch, but I am certain that the selections were many and ample.

We rented the beach for the day (10 AM until 3 PM) and weâre fortunate to have it all to ourselves. There are great cabanas and chairs for relaxing, as well as a bar. We enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch with the view of the sea. There was some seaweed on the beach but far better than what we had seen in Playa Del Carmen. I would highly recommend and will be returning when we come back to visit!

Horrible customer service. Restaurant was not busy yet food took over an hour. Door was marginal considering how long we waited. They did a bait and switch when we got the bill and used a ridiculous conversion rate to US dollars basically overcharging us. Would not recommend. All other restaurants we tried there were awesome with great food and service.

Not many people know about Paamul Bay. Located on the federal highway between Playa del Carmen and the Puerto Aventuras marina & golf estate, this little getaway is the perfect slice of sand, sea, sun and great food. The bay is so beautiful and its shallow, protected waters allow for easy swimming and snorkeling. Scuba diving and a freshwater pool are also available. The restaurant is an important part of this great setting. Located on the beach it offers extensive views of the Caribbean coastline, no matter where you are seated.Brazilian chef Kalu (an ex-professional football player) has created a colorful menu that includes typical Yucatecan, Caribbean and Brazilian (especially the meat) dishes. We almost always ask for whole fried catch of the day, accompanied by vegetables, rice, guacamole, tortillas and Mexican sauces. You cannot go wrong here. Spend a day out in the sun and in the water. End your day eating delicious food and drinking ice cold beer. This is definitely paradise.

We read all of the great reviews and were excited to try it out last night....the waiter Rolex was unfriendly and unhelpful...he couldn't be bothered after taking the order, our drinks went unfilled and thankfully another young man David stepped in....soooo nice and he was helpful...so glad he came by to ask us if we needed anything. As far as the food, the avacado with lobster was great, but two of us had the fish of the day (Grouper) and it was dry and overcooked, the best thing on my plate was the refried beans...lol. Shrimp fajitas my husband had we're good...and our other friend had fish tacos that came out on a sizzling fajita plate so we're also overcooked and dry....we had to ask for extra sauces to be able to eat it....we did not stay for dessert and won't be back...we had read such good things but no Bueno â¹ï¸.

A la carte restaurant located next to the beach, with a beautiful view. Enjoy the best organic food. Serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Exclusive for Privileged guests.
Amazing view, good food, limited options, amazing staff but cockroaches on the floor...Although it is to be expected given the climate.
