Tucked away in a side street just metres from the Goethehaus on the Frauenplan Square, this restaurant specialises in wholesome, largely vegetarian dishes. We had the dish of the day (Tagesgericht) which was great value at 7.50 euros and included a bowl of salad from the extensive salad bar. The actual dish was smoked salmon on a kind of rösti base, nicely garnished. The soft drinks are reasonably priced, and a good meal was had for a total of just 9.70 euros. Recommended.

Food was okay, service was appalling. My partner's starter was forgotten. They had run out of the wine, about two of the dishes. We weren't asked if we wanted water and the staff simply seemed vague. Again connected to a hotel, but after all of these reviews, should have been way better. All in all, much better places to eat in Weimar,

While in Weimar or Thuringia you actually should eat Thuringia brats but since friends were raving about Fritz Mitte I went for a currywurst instead. As it turned out a very good choice since the homemade mayonnaises are delicious, e.g. the parmesan-rosemary, aioli or honey-lemon and a great add-on to the tasteful thick cut fries.+ awesome fries+ delicious homemade mayonnaises- restricted seatingSausage: EUR 2.20Fries: from EUR 1.90Mayonnaise: 1st free w sausage, additional ones EUR 0,20Not sure if they take cash only.

Welcome to our rustic-elegant Restaurant "Bettina von Arnim" in the neighbourhood of Goethes house. We serve fresh delicious dishes combined with a rich variety of vintages on offer.
We dinned at this restaurant twice during our stay at the Dorint Am Goetheparke Hotel in Weimar. On both occasions our food was superb in taste and presentation. The dessert chose was so wonderful that I had it both evenings. As my husband has many allergies , the chef was able to cater for him and this was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place is a wonderful option if you enjoy a good hamburger! As soon as you come in you feel a nice atmosphere, the service is really friendly and you can choose between different kinds of hamburgers and also between three different sizes: S (140 g), M (200 g) and L (280 g) that's really perfect. We ordered one small cheese burger with menu, which includes fries and a soda, we took the sweet fries with curry and korean sauces, my boyfriend had a medium BBQ burger. The burgers were just perfect. They buy the meat by local farmers, as well as the vegetables and the bread comes from a local bakery, where they bake these special burger breads for them. The menu size is perfectly fine, the fries portion is perfectly fine for two.If you happen to be in Weimar and you like eating a burger, this is your place!
