Had a fantastic lunch with my family The stuffed crab , beef chilly and the salads were great along with the ambience, on the seafront, and the monsoon breeze , simply out of the world experience. Goa without a visit to this place is incomplete. Dear Guest, We are incredibly grateful that you took the time out to leave us this note. It was a pleasure to host you. We look forward to serving you again.

In Kolkata, we have a saying “Biriyani is an emotion, greater than love” and you just cannot serve anything naming it a “Biriyani”. I donot mind experimenting with Biriyani, but at least it should have the texture and concept of this legendary dish, which is missed here in it’s soo called “Mutton Hyderabadi Biriyani”Ambiance: Peaceful and quite popular with Locals. The surrounding is beautifully done with waterfalls and farm like settlement. In fact this is the only restro which I found more popular with locals than tourists, so am sure it serves really good food. But it was just not for us.Service: Prompt and GoodFood: We tried Fenny Margherita (absolutely not drinkable. A suggestion: Donot use Blue Curacao amply in any dish. It will ruin anything with it’s over sweetness). Chonuk Fry (Loved it. In fact this is the only Savory dish which was good), Hyderabadi Biriyani (It has nothing similar to any type of Biriyani and I was quite surprised a restro which is known for it’s Biriyani can serve something like this in name of Biriyani. The rice used was wrong. The texture was wrong. The use of meat was wrongly done. It is something with meat and a tangy flavored rice). Kingfish Ambot-tik (Too much sauce in comparison to the quantity of Fish). We ended it with Chocolate sizzling Jalebi (It is a savior. Beautifully done and Absolute love).Suggestion: Donot try the Hyderbadi Biriyani or Fenny Margherita. Try Chonuk Fry and Chocolate sizzling Jalebi.Pocket Pinch: Cheap to Moderate.Rating: 3/5 (2 points off for The Fenny Margherita and The Hyderabadi Biriyani)

This evening we opted for the Italian a la carte section of the menu and started off with the Pescatore pizza (seafood). This pizza was well executed and had flavourful and fresh seafood as its topping. The thin crust was perfect. For mains, we ordered the Carbonara Spaghetti with much trepidation as very few outlets have mastered the art of preparing the carbonara sauce. The pasta was cooked al dente (as requested) but the sauce left a lot to be desired. There were finely chopped white onions which were used in the preparation of the sauce base, which was not expected. The bacon too was not crispy and resembled ham more than bacon. It was served with a crusty garlic bun.We ended the meal with the Salted Caramel dome from the Goa Baking company. This dessert was enjoyable. The service provided by Harsh was attentive and professional. The restaurant was noisy and chaotic.

I just wanted to have a quick dinner and was about to enter Dominos Pizzeria, but then I saw this small restaurant neatly tucked next to it. It's name was a quirky one "Anju Celebrity", but it looked clean and well kempt. The ground floor has a small seating area and a bar. First floor has two separate air conditioned dining enclosures. The food was good, waiters courteous, credit cards were accepted (a rarity in Vasco) and service was very prompt. I thoroughly enjoyed my hakka noodles and came out happy and elated. Very nice and value for money restaurant

This is our second visit to this newly refurbished place and we were very impressed.Food was of the finest we have eaten in goa during our two month stay. They even ask for feed back when the bill arrives and I,ll tell you what I wrote.Food great but you forgot the rice, which arrived late. There should be some back ground music as the place was very quiet even with lunch time diners.Unable to get a beer or wine to compliment the excellent food. One final comment and other guest might disagree with this advice and that is I did,nt need to be served food at the table. The staff are over attentive and want to come to the table to fill your plate every time that you stop eating to talk.In my opinion this is to much of an intrusion.

John Seagull has been one of the finest places which I have visited at Bogmalo beach. Some of the highlights of the place are that, it is reasonably priced, varied range of food specially veg because I am pure vegetarian, has a fine pool table to sip a few glasses of beer while enjoying a game of pool with buddies, also offers a lot of desi Indian bites (aka Chakna) which is really important for people like me. All in all, had a wonderful experience at this place and I would strongly recommend everyone to be here if you happen to come to Bogmalo beach.

Grapevine - The Lobby Restaurant

One of the decent restaurants in Vasco. Located in HQ hotel on the ground floor. Courteous and polite staff. Good service. Has a buffet menu. Very reasonably priced buffet. Decor is decent. Spacious seating. Reasonable items for a buffet. Some of the items were very good and some was ok. So a mixed feeling in terms of taste of food. But still is worthy of repeat visit.
