A celebration for the senses Be seduced by the exotic flavours of our superb restaurant, As Velas, our poolside dining and the plush comfort of our bar. We look forward to welcoming you.
During our stay in the Four Seasons Country Club (FSCC) we visited this restaurant two times for dinner and one time for breakfast. The dinner was very good and the service both competent and friendly. The dishes offered are international with a slight preference to the UK which perfectly fits to the clientele. We missed more focus on local food. However, no complaints about the quality. We didn't like the breakfast. The so called small buffet didn't earn its reputation. You can order a lot of additional food but given the aspiration of the FSCC and compared with hotels on that price level there is a lot of room for improvement.Dear anspaul,Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I was pleased to read that you enjoyed the quality of the evening meals that you had with us. As regards the breakfast we are very different from hotels as we have full kitchen facilities in every villa. We also sell freshly baked bread and croissants from our mini-market on site. In a hotel many people are on a bed and breakfast tariff and therefore there is a consistent throughput in terms of numbers taking breakfast. With us that is not the case and numbers at breakfast can be very variable. An extensive buffet breakfast therefore does not work. What we have is a full menu with everything being cooked freshly to order, allowing anything from a small snack through to a full breakfast. The âbuffetâ that you refer to is just to allow people to help themselves to the basic items: juices, cereals, bread, butter and preserves, should they choose one of the breakfast special options that we have available.Ian PugsleyGeneral Manager

Monty's Restaurant & Bar in Vale do Lobo is THE place to go for easy drinks, great food and an unforgettable night's entertainment. Located at the Praca right by the beach in Algarve's golfing resort Vale do Lobo, Our international menu certainly caters f
Generally an ok experience eating here. Service was good, albeit a bit frantic and the atmosphere was ok, but the band playing in the centre of the complex was pants! (Not Montyâs fault). Teriyaki chicken was very nice, the wife said, but the Montyâs burgers were just like a take away burger youâd get after a night out in Manchester whilst waiting for a cab, and for 16.50 euro it wasnât great!!!Thank you for your comments. We are disappointed that you didnt enjoy the burger with us, I´m sure given the opportunity, the staff would have been more than happy to change it for another dish.Unfortunately the music in the praça is not under our control, we are sorry that you didnt enjoy the band.We do hope you will try us again.

The food was extremely good but what made the evening was the ambience but fantastic service from all team. They had really got it right and set a marker that other restaurants so far haven't met. Highly recommend and if we cant get back this visit on the top of list for next visit. Thankyou for great evening.

Casa da Quinta is set on a very generous plot of land near Almancil. There is a sweeping, landscaped entrance taking you up to the attractve main building and some lovely umbrella pinetrees surround the restaurant. Inside is spacious and bright, with a co
It's a tradition for us to go here on our first night. When we started going our daughter now 26 was a baby and in all that time never had a bad meal. So nice to be recognised every year and welcomed. Sardines were husbands choice and his favourite here. John dory with banana is my favourite and we all love the crispy potato rosti. Great meal excellent service. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely looking restaurant with a great setting and great atmosphere. We ate outside on a beautiful evening. Staff were attentive and made us with our 4 year old feel very welcome. The menu has a lot of choice, which isnât necessarily the case with other similar restaurants in the area. Food was excellent and Cocktails were also very good and original. The only slight downside is that we felt a little rushed, but apart from that we didnât have a single complaint.

This place is new to VDL, sitting high up above the main square opposite the Donna Filipe hotel, with great views of the sea. Very modern & simplistic in decor but nicely done. This restaurant serves breakfast, brunches & late snacks. We have only had breakfast here whilst walking our dog but Wow itâs good. Breakfast is focused on healthy options which are good portions, with various juice, smoothie drinks as well as concentrated health shots. They even allow pets. Access is limited via steps but parking is available at the pay car park close to the restaurant. Service is very good, polite & friendly.would highly recommend.

TRIO restaurant serves you a trilogy of new flavours of Mediterranean & International cuisine, in a relaxing, cozy and friendly ambiance. The restaurant is ideally located, close to Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, recently completely refurbished under ne
Having been a regular to the Algarve for over 30 years, I had visited Iberico, but this was my first visit to Trio. The welcome at the door and the quality of food coupled with friendly service made it a well worthwhile find. The young couple running the restaurant are doing a great job and Trio is well worth a visit. My Father (with whom I was dining tonight) has already booked his next visit. He often dines out alone in the area and the warmth of the welcome, excellent service, and delicious food means this is likely to become a regular haunt. The wine list, as well as availability of good wine by the glass is a big plus.

This was our first visit and we were impressd from the firendly welcome onwards. There is clearly a lot of comoetition but the food stood out for quality of ingredients and cooking. The menu has a good range of options and despite our choosing 2 very different cuisines both were very well executed You can only compare this to mid top end restaurants and as such prices are reasonable

Booked this restaurant as we had it recommended and tried it in March.Today we attended and had to stand in reception. Whilst stood in this area I was covered in red wine when a bottle was dropped by a customer( who shouldnât have been lifting down the bottle). The initial reaction from the receptionist seemed to be my fault for standing there.I had red wine on my top, my white jeans and my tan shoes. We were shown to our table where I was offered a dry tissue 10 minutes after the accident at our demand.Anyway that was a bad start. The food arrived less than five minutes after ordering. The course I chose came as a weird combination an escalope with spaghetti in tomato sauce and green leaf salad. The escalopes were hot the pasta was clap cold. My wife had spaghetti with aubergine etc and this was cold too. We werenât offered Parmesan etc.As we were now in poor mood we decided to leave, yes we didnât pay for the meal. But the meal didnât deserve it! Wonât return.Dear Mr PShaq, as per the email we sent you after this incident, we reiterate our apologies. As we explained, the recepcionist was flustered by the situation and trying to help out in what was an unexpected accident (a client at the reception accidently dropped a bottle of wine and the head waiter and himself were covered in wine). We are very sorry this accident spoiled your night, the manager tried his best to fix this situation by offering your meal and we also offered to pay for the dry cleaners or pay for the damaged items. It was an unfortunate situation that we tried to correct to the best of our capabilities.
