In the THOMSN.Restaurant the first Rock Restaurant from the alps American Style you can roughly get pampered with homemade pizza, burger, steak and co, of course, all freshly prepared.

The pizza was ok, the staff was incompetent, lazy, avoided eye contact and above all, rude. After having been to restaurants in 30 different countries and worked in the hospitality business for over 20 years, this was simply the worst service experience we've ever had. No 'hello', no 'thank you', no smile, bluntly and unapologetically announcing that only pizza would be available (which is fine, but the tone and attitude were aggressive). There were two waiters, both were unfriendly and making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. To top it all off, after their hopelessly bad service the waiter not only expected a tip, but actually held back some of our change, as if they assumed that we're actually gonna reward them for their awful job.Really not recommended!Dear Jerome, what a pity that you did not like your stay at THOMSN. Sorry for the misunderstanding with the tip â we would have loved to clarify the situation directly. We hope that you nevertheless look back with nice memories as well. Just a few metres from the centre of Saalbach and right next to the valley station of the Bernkogelbahn. And ideal spot for a ski-break, Après Ski and dinner in the evening. In the "Soul House" we just love good music. In the afternoon we are celebrating

Had a great lunch followed by a few beers and the some live music. Itâs a good place but maybe lacks a bit of staff cohesion between the various areas. Food is very good but maybe needs just a little bit of visible management. Dear John, thank you very much for your feedback to your visit at Soul House. We quite often stay in Panorama Chalets for skiing holidays - probably one of the best places to stay, when you want to ski in Kitzbuhel arena. Mooralm is located in Panorama Chalets building right next to Panorama ski lift, so it's very good place for both apres ski and dinner. Menu pretty simple but long enough to avoid repeating meals when you are here on holiday and food tastes well - my favorite meal is Wiener Schnitzel - makes your hunger go away for good. Nice interior and good service. Check it out.

It's getting hard to find normal traditional food. Most of the places offer fancy sounding dishes with even more fancy ingredients. In the end you get stuff on your plate that doesn't really work taste-wise. Portions not to generous, prices mid to high range for what you get. Wouldn't come a second time.

Good Italian restaurant (missclasdified as pizzeria in TripAdvisor.)We enjoyed a very good dinner having Carpaccio for starter, (medium rare) steak with butter herb source and Irish Coffee for dinner. All were professionally prepared and perfect in addition to very friendly service and pleasant atmosphere! We were able ti get a table without a reservation by arriving already after 6 PM. Table reservation recommended.The phone number given by the TripAdviser app does not, however, work. The restaurant adviced to use there own net page instead for getting correct contact information to make a table reservationHope that TripAvisor is able to sort out the errors in the classification of the restaurant and the contact information asap!

Our only issue with the restaurant was the overbearing underfloor heating which is set far too high and slowly cooks you and dries out ones skin which is uncomfortable. We have underfloor heating at our home which is set at a sensible temperature which this hotel needs to adjust down a couple of degrees centigrade please.

From reviews on TripAdvisor we learned that this probably is a nice place to go. It is indeed! As was said in some earlier reviews, do not count on the classic Austrian kitchen, as you may find in Meilinger Taverne. (Do note that it's a bit more expensive too - but worth it!!) The dishes are "modern", sometimes with an Italian touch, and the description in the menu alone made my mouth water. I had a lovely starter of "Ziegenkäse" on spinach. The main course was absolutely fantastic; "Catch of the day" (Rotbarsch; I think it's called redfish in English) with an amazing 'risotto' of quinoa, couscous and langustine. The lovely taste kept lingering in my mouth right until dessert, which was white chocolate cheesecake. It was very good too, as was the small bonbon accompanying the tea. Except for tasting very well, the dishes were lovely to look at too. The personnel was very friendly and professional, and still easy to chat with. I loved this experience and really don't have anything negative to say about this restaurant.
