Things to do in Tlaxcala
Where to eat Latin food in Tlaxcala: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The center of town was jumping with carnaval celebrations and two of our favorite restaurants were closed. We just walked past Entre Vinos and it looked inviting. After reviewing the very interesting menu, we had to give it a chance. We ordered several of the entradas; each one was excellent. Both delicious and beautifully presented. We look forward to eating there again on our next visit to Tlaxcala.
This is an excellent place for any meal or a snack. The cuisine is contemporary Mexican and the ambience is very pleasant. Itâs located near the main plaza and is open late. Café 11 is also a great place to enjoy a late glass of wine or dessert.

We had a hard time finding a restaurant open at all and we were starving. When we finally stumbled on this little place we were well rewarded. couldn't have been nicer. Had it not been for the television blasting next to us, I would have said that the ambiance was perfect, but the restaurant was not trying to attract me, but other Mexicans. But still we loved it. I'm a vegetarian and the Huitlacoche crepes were so delicious and the cheesy tasting sauce was so light and tasty, I wanted to lick my plate (I'm sure that is not in good taste, so I avoided it). My husband ordered the pollo poblano and said it was wonderful. I sneaked a taste and admit it was tasty. We returned for breakfast the following morning and found it equally as good. Actually the best breakfast I had the entire time. I ordered an omlet with Huichacotely and he ordered somthing with a lot of meat in it. We were both super happy. This restaurat is a great place to get local foods of Tlaxcala.
