Beautiful place in the middle of no where about a block away from the market. Open air cafe but inside there is air condittioing and nice bathrooms. Prices are somewhat reasonable and the Cream Burel is amazing. We went 3 times. 1St time was great, second closed and 3RD not good at all. Cheeseburgers taste like soy but were told they were beef. Wouldnt order food again.

One of our first stops in Tahiti! We enjoyed stopping here and having some local beer and good food. We liked it so much we came back again. Service was good and the food was also. Wide variety of beers. We liked all the various sizes of beer that you can choose. Recommend

What a fabulous fusion of French and Tahitian food. Very creative menu, excellent wine choices (including several half bottles - perfect for those dining alone or when sleep is not on the itinerary in the afternoon!)It bothered us not that it is the same menu for lunch and dinner as there were plenty of options available for either meat, fish or even vegetarians. The meals were extremely well presented and the flavours and freshness very good. Sadly those who enjoy our fish in the ceviche/sashimi style will find only one appetizer prepared in this manner. The 'Red tuna fish sashimi - Japanese style' was excellent however it would have been good to have a main course selection.Care has been taken to the presentation of the restaurant (nice stem and flatware as well as linen napkins) and the staff were very friendly and efficient. My only word of warning - beware the warm bread rolls especially when smeared with lots of creamy butter...

tel 45 30 00, very close to Robert Wan pearl museum.
We were wanting to move away from the Robert Wan Museum and Shop to discuss whether we wanted to buy a particular pearl, and this little restaurant was only a few steps away. So we sat down, and were treated to delicious coffee and snacks at a very reasonable price by most friendly family members in a very stylish and elegant environment. This was in June, when I tried to post a review. For some reason TripAdvisor wouldn't let me, even though I gave full details! However, they have finally come back to me with apologies with this tea house, so better late than never!Highly recommended!

Whenever we're in Papeete (it was our 6th visit) we always make a bee line for this coffee shop/restaurant. It has an open courtyard in the centre of this commercial building between the Post Office and the cruise ship wharf. The "stars" are Hollywood/French actors appearing on the place mats. Having been on a cruise from Australia we opted for something quintessentially French, namely croissant (Fcp 250) and a Café au Lait (Fcp350). The servings of each were enough to constitute brunch, the service was so friendly and efficient that we can't wait to return for more of the same!
