As the name suggests, this establishment is very close to Skipton station and I called in when I had plenty of time to wait for a train. I am glad that I did - received a warm welcome in cosy, friendly surroundings. Drinks choices were good and they have a very inviting looking menu. I would definitely return here and thank you to the staff for making me feel at home.

After touring Skipton Castle, we decided to try Alexander's for lunch. It is across the street from the castle basically. Glad we chose this restaurant! We were able to get a table outside behind the restaurant, which was very nice! Large umbrellas shade many of the tables. Very good halloumi cheese appetizer! Would definitely eat here again if we are in the area.Thank you for the fabulous five bubble review! It's fantastic to hear you'd visit us again and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.

This was our first visit since the makeover of the pub and we were all impressed. It felt really comfortable yet smart. It was nice to see a vegetarian/vegan menu that was offering something different. I ordered the fishless pie which was very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we will definitely be going back.
