Een perfect gelegen hotel, met goede kamers en uiterst vriendelijke bediening. Als u een boeking heeft gedaan voor een theaterbezoek aan de Stadsschouwburg Sittard, kunt u bijna uit uw kamer zo het theater inlopen. Het ligt er namelijk naast. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid met een prima service!

Inrichting is gezellig en netjes. Bediening is wisselvallig. Sommige erg vriendelijke andere nogal koel. Kaart is niet heel uitgebreid dus kan lastig zijn voor moeilijke eters. Gekozen voor de Dorade, was oké en lekker maar zeker niet bijzonder. Was helaas ook alleen filet terwijl een hele dorade vis beter smaakt en oogt. Tafelgenoten waren tevreden vooral over de spareribs. Voldoende keuze aan drank. Gekozen Prosecco smaakte goed. Gezien prijs kwaliteit verhouding net geen 4 sterren.

Nice restaurant with good service inside the Sport-hotel venue. It is suitable for large groups but also smaller groups (separate seating) and if you want outdoor. They offer a traditional (quite extensive) menu (with local food also) and a shared-dining experience. We came in late afternoon and ordered nachos and beer, when we were ready for dinner, we choose a 2 course dinner (starter-main), ordered salmon sashimi and shrimps. The portions were really big, i had over 20(!!!) shrimps and the salmon were 3 cm square cubes and over 8. Very tasty (shrimps also came with bread). After our starter we ordered the main, traditional stew and dorade ( fish with pasta instead of fries. The dishes were very well made up, good portioned and very tasty. We ended with a tea and left to our room. Everything is very affordable and again, the service is great.

This is a âmust have been thereâ place. Superb historic location. Good resto and brasserie. With great views on the actual castle on the little hill (called âterpâ). Service is friendly. Free parking and free wifi. Food is good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for a dinner for two or for groupdinner.

Went for lunch and dinner. Both experiences were very good. Knowledgable staff and friendly serviceThey do serve local dishes such as the kroketten on bread and zuurvlees for dinner.The outdoor terrace is heated and comes with a lap blanket inside the dining area is rustic, quiet.We had the chateau briand for dinner . It was the best one we've ever had. Sidebar: my husband has a service dog and it was not a problem having her inside they even had anwatermbowl for her.
