We tried breakfast, lunch AND dinner at The Hideaway. The chef can prepare anything! The (dinner) shrimp dish is absolutely the very best shrimp I have had anywhere, not just in St Maarten, I mean anywhere!!! The lunch LaVista burger with pineapple is another winner. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Debbie and John go out of their way to make sure you have a very pleasant dining experience, no matter which meal it is.We highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone wanting a quaint spot with a great view, terrific service and fabulous food.

Great atmosphere! Right on Maho Bay! The waves, sunsets, the novelty of watching the planes flying over the beach and all the tourists covered in oil! Forget all that....... what really makes Tortuga special are the people! From the Kitchen staff firing out dishes left and right to a waitstaff of servers and Bartenders that will extinguish any thirsts you may have acquired throughout your day. Come in and say Hi to Tom and Mery. 2 of a kind you will never forget!

A seaside Mexican restaurant with Mexican traditional food. La Patrona Restaurant will delight your palate with the authentic flavors of this cuisine, which is one of the most extensive culinary exhibitions in the world.
This restaurant was available when you don't want to go outside the resort. It has a beautiful view of the marina where you can eat inside or outside and get a good view of the beach and harbor. My family eat lunch right after we checked in our room. I had the shrimp tacos which was delicious. The staff is friendly and the decor is mexican. The price is a little expensive and the menu is limited. But for the location it makes up for the price.

Located right before the Simpson Bay Bridge. There's a new spot in St.Maarten, where locals can be proud of their local cuisine, where Rum enthusiasts can sip themselves around the world, one tumbler at a time; and where tourist can truly experience the a
Coming to Sint Maarten in low season presented us with some challenges - not just weather, but finding open restaurants. Finally, six days into our week, we were told that Nowhere Special was someplace special! I, personally, had been craving grilled Caribbean lobster all week and we were told that the previous night was a lobster special night at Nowhere Special. Well we missed it by one day, but the wonderful people at Nowhere Special took great care of us, and brought me a fabulous grilled Caribbean lobster, with the yummiest fried plantains ever, and of course, their famous Johnny Cakes! Our server, Red, was amazing, such a sweetie. The music was delightful, and everyone was so friendly. This was my first trip to Sint Maarten, but I hope to return and if I do, I will definitely return to Nowhere Special!!

A great international restaurant in a fun, air conditioned, Caribbean cottage that celebrates all-American comfort cuisine alongside international culinary delights. Daily specials focus on fresh seafood and the best quality meats cooked to perfection. Lu
A great go to place for food and drinks. Everything we ate was above average. They are known for the brisket and you won't be disappointed! Topper himself still hangs out at the restaurant, a very nice man! Free rum samples, cold beer and karaoke...what else could you ask for as a starting place for your evening, or an ending place for the early folks...

We shared an omelet. It was very good. Love the location and sitting out on the water. Little hard to find. MUST watch closely as it is right by the bridge on Welfare Rd.

Walked in and was promptly seated. We were told right away that they are backed up in the kitchen and that the order would take some time. It was explained that a flight was canceled and that the passengers were given meal vouchers to eat there. We ordered spring roll appetizers. I ordered steak shish kebabs and my wife ordered chicken kebabs. After waiting a bit the owner came over and apologized for the delay. I can't express how apologetic he was. He sent over another round of drinks, an appetizer of baba ganoush and hummus. Then when our dinner finally did come out he sent over a plate of something that appeared to be like eggplant parmesan. All of it was delicious. I really feel the owner and server went out of their way for us to make up for an unusual situation and we will definitely return.

Our little Caribbean style restaurant has so much to offer: Laid back ambiance, great service, but the most important, delicious home cooked meals that will make you come back for more again and again. Like us on Facebook and be part of our community! (Pl
If you are in St. Maarten, you absolutely must go to The Palms Restaurant. Jo and Greg make you feel so welcome as though you have know them forever and you are having dinner in their home. The food is a absolutely incredible. The drunken ribs are delicious. The espresso martini should not be missed and the double chocolate cheesecake is the best I have ever had. This restaurant is the true epitome of food made with love. What an awesome review! Thank you so very much! Thank you for all the support :) Greg is making peanut butter cheesecake at this moment! ;)
