We visited this cafe each morning of the five we were staying within the Cloud 9 area. It is such a quaint place that offers a perfect breakfast with minimal fuss. The menu is quite simple but that makes it perfect for me.There is a set breakfast where you can mix and match from a set list of items, including a drink (coffee or smoothie). All this for 170 pesos. There coffee is also great and great after an afternoon of surfing.I met one of the co-owners who is Spanish and he seemed really nice and friendly. I wish them well in their new venture. They seem to have the right business model that suits the laid back vibe of Siargao.

As soon as we arrived you get a real sense of welcome from the shop owner ken!! Super warm and inviting. He has lots of laundry machines to get your laundry done quick and has cold drinks for you while you wait. Super glad we found this place. Will def use this place again when we come back to the island!!

I really enjoyed eating always at Kokai. Sandy has made nice addition now when he has included Mexican food in the menu. Its not only the Mexican food so there is enough possibilities to eat local or international food. Atmosphere in Kokai restaurant is perfect. Its relatively small so you never need to wait food long and there is lots of cold drinks after days activites. Love the place... Grteetings to Sandy, Geil, Carroll, chef Jackie and all Kokai staff. taste- 5/5we have tried almost all their breakfast menus and all taste good, shoutout to their oatscaldo which i have ordered twice.presentation- 5/5the food looks very enticingstaff- 5/5very courteous ambiance- 5/5it has a 360deg view of their gardenlocation- 3/5it will challenging to go to their place especially if you want to walkprice- 3/5as expected since is it a specialty resto a bit pricey

we came for early cocktails at this beach side bar. found the drink prices quite high....a shot of JW black was at 150pesos...that would seem too much as the place doesnt really have the ambiance of a beach bar---its more like a club in a cement structure....I would have wanted the place to take advantage of the beach area
