Dropped in as it seemed nice and sat outside. Very relaxing environment (it was a great day). Staff friendly even though they were busy. The food was simple but just what I wanted at the end of the day. A pity only passing through Venlo otherwise would come back again.

My Father, I and several colleagues have been working in Venlo for a month now, de Brasserie was one of the first restaurants we came across and since we haven't found anything comparable. The food is delicious and having ordered majority of the menu always exceeds my expectations. I would highly recommend the Borsch and the Mussels as they are my personal favourites however as stated previously, you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. On our first visit we were greeted with smiles, kindness decorum and full knowledge of the menu, that has all continued for every visit. All the staff are truly beautiful and so friendly, a true asset to de Brasserie. Working away from home is hard but this restaurant and crew truly has made us feel like we have a home away from home!! Thank you guys we love you all and will most certainly be back :) xoxo

I stayed in the hotel, but did not eat dinner here in early March. The place is a Brasserie with a nice atmosphere to it. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. My room was spacious, very modern and the bed was just perfect - not too hard and not too soft. The technical equipment and the internet connection were excellent. The price for this was very reasonable and I will definitely be back. Breakfast consisted of many regional specialities, which added to the positive image. Definitely a great alterntive to the hotels in teh area!

Visited the brasserie with a colleague. Both took the 3 course menu. The appetizers- a burrata salad- was more like a salty mozzarella with cream and came literally drown into a pesto sauce that was tasting very chemical and artificial. The lettuce that was completing the dish was very dry and roughly cut ( as if somebody would open an old supermarket salad bag and throw it into the bowl). After this very bad start, the veal with mushroom did not make it any better. A few very thin mechanically sliced and overcooked slices covered with mixed mushroom that once again seemed to come straight from a package of the biggest Dutch supermarket chain. The mushroom and the meat were swimming in so much watery looking and watery tasting cooking juice to make the dish look like a mushroom soup. The potato pure with truffle was probably the best dish in the evening but had two deep fried potato croquettes sticked into it. Cheese tasty consistence but total clash with the rest. The dessert did not cheer me up: dry castelet pudding, waterish raspberry sorbet and a very thick and sweet tea jelly (like a very sweet jam) not blending at all with the rest of the dish. My colleague took a fig dessert - the only difference in what we ate - and claimed it was ok ( to cheer me up?!)To be noted that we had booked a table but needed to sit 20 min before it was ready for us.Never again.

Had some awesome meals, and some average. My starter was absolutely divine, the Brunnenkresse suppe, but the main was not quite to my liking. It was the Heilbutt fish. Can only have myself to blame I guess. Coffee complete desert was out of this world again. Service was great and the wines good too. Can not fault them. All in all a great place to meet and eat.Hello Martin,Tank you for your review. Awesome to read that you marked our starter and dessert as out of this world, we are sorry that the main course wasn't to your likings perhaps. We would love to welcome you again if you are on a visit in Venlo.Kind regards,Dominique

Stayed in Venlo for one night. Decided to go for an Indonesian meal and wasn't disappointed. Service was excellent. Choice of food was good too. There was a menu board on a wall but no paper menu so was difficult to chose and remember. I ended up having 4 tapas which were good. It did have the fast food popularist feeling about it which is not really my style. A place to go I would say.

Cosy and modern restaurant/bar for good food, lunch and dinner. We also have 20 different beers on draft! and more on bottle. we hope to see you soon at blok 10..
The pub is quiet nice. Sometimes there is a live performance which can be of any kind of music, mostly rock music. Be prepared to pay a fee for the show. The beers are ok with a variety on tap and bottled beer.It is also possible to eat here but I never tried it.

It was our last night in the Netherlands and having read a recent review sought out the Cafe and we certainly weren't disappointed. As we walked in wasn't too sure as people stared maybe because we had our young grandson with us, maybe just because we were strangers in what was such a quiet town. The service was excellent though, friendly and helpful. Two of us had mushroom soup two of us had tomato with meatball soup both of which were good and sometimes it's the little things but the butter provided with the bread was amazing. For main course my wife and I had steak with pepper sauce, our daughter had a three meat meal consisting of Liesbeth's stew, chicken satay and ribs. I had been tempted by the stew myself but the steak was wonderful. Loved the way the frites were served which may or may not be normal in the Netherlands but we liked it. Unfortunately none of us had room for dessert as they looked great. The service was great and was a great end to our short holiday in the Netherlands. Just wish we could have stayed till the weekend as looked like Horst was going to be lively. Lovely town and would highly recommend Liesbeth's Grand Cafe for price and quality.

Glad you're here! At Gossimijne enjoyment really is unlimited. Our kitchen closes when our last guests have finished dining, no sooner. No arrangement duration and no final round. Enjoy your exquisite dinner at ease, relaxed and unhurried. And you can sit
Went here for dinner with 2 small children and 4 adults. Called the evening before and from 18:00 and onwards there was no place, so we reserved at 5:00 PM. They offer an all you can eat Duch tapas menu or a la carte (which we did). Very nice that for the children the placemats were colouring pallets and their menu (special kids menu) was printed on it. For the kids we ordered 2 small tomato soup a schnitzel with fries and cheesesticks with fries. Very nicely decorated (fries served the same way as for the adults, in a fry basket). Dessert we had no room for but we ordered a bag of candy for the little ones! Our startes were a big 3 types of bread and several spreads (to share), mushrooms with minced meat and cheese, olive oil infused salmon tartar with tuna and a carpaccio salad. Everything was very good expect for the tuna, taste was so so but it was a very very small portion. Main courses were steak with stir fry, beef skewer, chicken skewer and mixed, lamb-beef-chicken skewer. All came with fries standard (asked for a portion of basamati rice) and enough mayonnaise and sauces with the meat and all. Very good! We had no room for dessert and left the place with filled stomach and a good feeling of province Limburg's hospitality! While we seated most of the people that came in afterwards were (most of) regular customers who all were going for the all-you-can-eat tapas buffet. Most of the dishes were smaller sizes of the a la carte menu with an additional choice of 30% more sizes. All looked very good and they really offer good service with it, which is very important. When we left the 2 childeren got a free kids t-shirt. The franchise has 3 or 4 other restaurants in the neighbourhood. Would for sure recommend the place for a good night out!
