A world class restaurant renowned for exceptional seafood, meats wine & service. Master of elegant, yet trendy dining, overlooking the Melrose Arch Piazza.
We had a delicious family meal at this upscale seafood restaurant. It may specialize in seafood but the grill was also fantastic. We were a family of four with two teenagers. The restaurant offered a great range of starters and main courses. Overall a great meal at a very reasonable price.

A stalwart of the Rosebank scene. I've visited here on many occasions while visiting Joburg. Good mixed menu of burger/salad/grill type options, in a buzzy setting at the heart of the mall. A classic brunch spot too and great for people watching. Service always friendly, but can be a little slow, especially when busy.

Chaplinâs found its roots in Melville since 1980 and Rainold Petersen who moved to Hurlingham in 2012, changed the name to Chaplinâs Grill in tribute to his legendary Melville-based bistro â a gem amidst the fine dining establishments of Joburg in the 80â²

This past December while on our way back to Pretoria to from Soweto, my family and I was told Tashas was a great place to have lunch. Service: The service was great. There wasn't a wait to be seat and with us having a large party, two servers took care of us. They both did an excellent job.Food: There are to many dishes to go over, due to a large party so I'll just comment on my dish, which was an ostrich burger. That was my first type having ostrich and I was really impressed. The meat was tender and the flavor was amazing. I can't recall what the spread it came with, but I wasn't a fan of it. Wifi: Not sure if they had wi-fi, didn't ask. I'm sure with Tashas connected to the mall, you could possibly use it's wifi.Overall: Everyone was happy with their choices and really enjoyed Tashas. I will recommend Tashas if you have the option to.

Located in the Michelangelo Towers at the Nelson Mandela Square, Pigalle Sandton has become a benchmark in urban-chic dining where government and business men and women swarm to wine and dine like kings and queens. The venue reflects the Goncalves brother
Overall, this place is solid 4 with excellent service and ambiance. We had a party of 4 for dinner. Both oysters and duck spring rolls were excellent appetizer choices. For entrees we ended up ordering lobster thermidore, chicken peri peri, sole in lemon butter sauce and beef fillet with green peppercorn sauce and steamed vegetables. Chicken was the most flavorful dish, lobster was good (a huge portion as well), beef fillet was subpar and sole was just a plain unmemorable and too dense fish entree. A quick comment on beef - this was not your typical 2 inch thick US fillet mignon, more of 1/2â properly cooked fillet. Steamed vegetables were severely undercoked. We ordered creme brulee and chocolate fondant for desserts, they were the best part of our dining experience. We had several different wines with our dinner and they were nice. Overall, we had a great time.

Creative menu that will satisfy any foodie, making use of seasonal/local ingredients, presented beautifully by a chef who obviously takes pride in his work. He made a point of visiting our table when we arrived. We stayed at the hotel and liked the food so much we ate at the restaurant every night rather than venturing out. We couldn't imagine finding better elsewhere!Dear gmw725, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It's lovely reading how you enjoyed your time and Clico and we proud to hear how you enjoyed the meals and that you got to meet our Chef. Who is indeed a very creative chef. We look forward to having you back with us real soon. Kind RegardsJaco Wheeler

Found the restaurant on google and based on the website, we decided to celebrate birthday's. Being from Durban, the restaurant was slightly difficult to find based on WAZE. Parking is very inconvenient as we had to walk in heels to the restaurant which was a good walk away. Upon the elevator doors opening, the restaurant is beautiful, well lit and spacious. we where escorted to our table and asked immediately to place our drink orders. Once the drinks arrived we where asked to place our orders. the waiter insisted we place our starters and mains at the same time. We asked the waiter for his suggestions and ironically he pushed the most expensive meals down our throat, R900 for a steak sheesh dairy cow or not that is a bit much! However we managed to order what WE wanted. The prawn and avo starter is absolutely amazing and is a must try, for my main i had the sirloin steak, was not the greatest but was good. The dessert menu then came, and i had to remind the waiter that we where celebrating two birthdays'. I made a reservation and sent a follow up email to confirm this. I was a bit annoyed with having to remind the waiter that we were celebrating a birthday in front of the people who where celebrating their birthdays. We received ice cream with a card. We also had the ice cream cookie, nothing extraordinary, but the cinnamon meringue is amazing.Visit for the experience, and Instagram photo but nothing would really make me want to return.
