Simply had to be the best dinning in Italy. Especially when value for money is taken into account ,the attention to detail was fantastic ,the place was modern and immaculate ,,the warm welcome when you arrived was great ,all the food was homemade ,after visiting all the tourist places and eating there ,this was like a breath of fresh air ,just a lovely place ,bit hard to find ,but go through the supermarket entrance ,and come out on the other side and its right there ,best of all you can park your car ,hope you enjoy Martin and rose nz

There are a lot of restaurants between San Benedetto and Grottammare but the majority of them have a standard setup so when something new and refreshing pops up it gets immediate attention and for good reasons!So what went wrong here? Well to start with we only recently discovered another restaurant called Degusteria del Gigante where we learned that a previous chef at this restaurant had received notable recognition and when we found that this chef had opened this new place then we just had to try it!Unfortunately I think we came with much too high expectations than the place could bare.The idea and overall setup of this bistrot is really great and with a lot of potential but for now they are not able to bring it to its full potential.While it is obvious that the two main chefs at the front are passionate about their job then they just havenât been able to transmit that passion into the flavors and presentation of their dishes. I found good ideas here but this is not a gastronomic place. Not yet at least. Having an open kitchen is very positive but also challenges the chefâs even more.I also found the service from the waiters to be cold and confusing. It is very clear that the waiters do not share the same passion for their job as the chefâs.I think this place can really rock but they are not there yet. They seem not to have fully focused on what they really want to express with this place and I for sure will give it another chance but sometimes out in the future.
