Find out what International restaurants to try in Salamanca. Known as Spain’s "golden city," Salamanca is rich in architectural, religious and gastronomic culture. Marvel at the La Casa de las Conchas (house of shells) and the 18th century Plaza Mayor, then pore over the fresh produce of the Central Market. Both the Old and New Cathedrals of Salamanca are celebrations of Renaissance and Gothic styles.

In contradiction to traditional Spanish food here you can have a nice tasty and fresh breakfast! Nice interior and friendly service are an added bonus. And the tostada with avocado, tomato and olive oil on (almost) brown bread was actually as big as a normal dinner plate!

OROVIEJO Gastrobar restaurant. In the center of town, surrounded by monuments, 3 important streets clothing us, the C / Company, C / Melendez and Sq. Saint Benedict. Building dating from 1747 under the writings known, home and property of the poet Juan Me
So with only one night in Salamanca we wanted something really nice. Found this on another site recommended as not a tourist trap but good quality food. Good menu with a choice of full meals or tapas. We would have tried the roast kid for two but you need to order this in advance. The waiter recommended both the suckling pig and lamb. So we had both. Really large portion so don't go overboard with a large starter. Beautifully tender meat accompanied by a few potatoes and salad. Very good choice of wine and again a knowledgable recommendation when our first choice was available. Deserves to be much higher in the listings. Worth a try.

I am no vegetarian and Magenta is a vegetarian cafe. But boy the offerings were wonderful. Delicate flavours, freshly produced and nicely presented. And very, very reasonable prices. We had a light dinner and returned the following day for lunch. Total for both meals around â¬20 and that included beer.We found Apple maps mislead us. We were 200 metres away when it claimed we were there, but the required search was well worth it. The address is correct.Highly recommended- even for meat eaters!

Pepita is born with a clear objective: revolutionize the traditional hamburger. We simply bet on first class meat made on the grill, accompanied by the best and freshest ingredients, combined in a surprising way. This is not a fast food establishment but
Very close to the Plaza Mayor, this place has some premium burguers with a very good price/quality ratio. Prior reservation is highly recommended or you will have to wait for some time (in case you manage to eat). I had pork burguer and it was very good. One starter for four people, four burguers and drinks, around 60 euros. Staff was VERY nice
