We were frozen to the core, and needed a place to stop - this is at the top of the Uenotaira Gondola. Quite utilitarian - the iced coffee was nowhere near as nice as Mos Burger, and the fried chicken was only OK. However it was warm and the staff were friendly

This on mountain restaurant specialises in duck hotpot. You have to order 24 hours in advance and I believe the minimum order is for 2 people. There is no one here that really speaks English so you have to gesture your way through the pre-booking or rely on the goodwill of another English speaking Japanese customer. The booking hassle is well worth it. When you are arrive the following day your table will be arranged by the door on the second floor. The portion of duck is very generous and it comes with udon and a selection of vegetables. After cooking the duck the hotpot will have a think layer of duck fat on the top. When cooking the noodles and Vegetables they taste like they have been dipped butter. You do not have to pay at the time of booking. This dish is listed in the menu. However the policies around bookings are poorly translated. It says to book two days in advance but we were able to book one day in advance. It also says minimum is three persons but we were able to book for two. Whatever the policy is it appears flexible anyway.

Small casual restaurant. Unfortunately the recommended gyoza had sold out the night we arrived!!!!! Devastated. The menu is fairly small, basically its ramen, udon and soba noodles mainly on the menu. Very good if you like noodles. The chicken karage pieces were excellent.

Went there for lunch with my husband during our ski at Suginohara. It was busy, but ramen noodle was tasty and came quickly. We ordered tantan ramen noodle which is a bit spicy, and it was delicious.Only one thing is, people are allowed to smoke in the restaurant. Wij verbleven er op de camping "la grappe d'or". Het dorp is prachtig bewandelbaar en heeft verschillende aan te prijzen restaurants. Ook zijn er meerdere wijnkelders te bezoeken, in het dorp,zijn er ook meerdere soorten winkels zodat men alles kan vinden. De kerk is een heel prachtig monument. Het kasteel " chateau de meursault" is prachtig en heel bezoekbaar. De wijn is er wel heel duur. In de omgeving kun je ook prachtig fietsen tussen de wijnvelden. Beaune is makkelijk bereikbaar met de fiets en een echte aanrader. Ook kan er naar verschillende dorpen in de omgeving gefietst worden en deze zijn allen bezoek waard en kennen diverse wijnhuizen. Een aan te raden streek.
