Very nice room with view on the railway station square. A la carte langoustines followed by turbot. Two very good dishes but missing wow factor. Decent wine list fairly priced. Service correct but no explanation of the dishes. Conveniently located not a destination restaurant for me.

Iâve been living in Rotterdam for a few months, I found this place at the beginning of my stay and am so glad I did because it has become my go-to brunch spot. The food is excellent, I find it hard to go past the poached eggs on toast as they are always cooked to perfection. The coffee is great and also a generous size, which is something I struggled to find elsewhere in the city. But what sets Harvest apart is the service, the staff are so friendly and welcoming- youâre greeted as you arrive and the staff go out of their way to remember regular customers. There is a laid back atmosphere which makes it a lovely place to sit and read while enjoying the great coffee. I am going to really miss my weekend brunches here when I return home soon!Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful lunch here, we opted for the surprise menu. Had a seafood starter which was delicious, scallops were perfectly cooked. The main was 3 times of steak all really nice and full of flavours with lovely fries and salad and to finish were two types of brownies. It is in a lovely location as we were fortunate to have good weather we ate outside but inside looks very nice too. I did my research before i went to rotterdam so I already had decided to eat there before i got in rotterdam. I was very satisfied with the place. Authentic interior combination of different cultural touches.Location is good close to markthal. Next to the restaurant, there is a parking garage, you can park your car there.Only negative point was that the waitress had no idea about the menu, about the portions nothing at all. We have visited this restaurant last summer with a perfect experience so we went back again for the lunch. The food was still excellent but somehow the ordering gave some misunderstandings (deliberately maybe....?) so the bill ended nearly twice expensive than the first visit, for exactly the same lunch menu. So if you will go there for their very good value lunch menu offer, be careful to be extremely clear when you ordering - otherwise they charges you separately for everything. Good food but disappointed service compared to our first visit. We go to Rotterdam nearly four times a year, next time we better try somewhere else.

We regularly eat in Michelin star restaurants, because we love food. But we also want to be entertained and have a service you get but didnât see.The food and composition of it great, but we had a wine arrangement which wasnât. In a restaurant like this I donât wanna ask for a bit more wine because the time between courses was long ( which was the cause). And when I asked the waiterâs comment was a bit arrogant, that I should have asked earlier. The some for extra water. In short, the food was great, the staff not. And there is something else to know, the leave the door open to regulate temperature, causing a drought in the restaurant and a cold for you. Make sure your not to close by the door. Four stars are just for the food.

2 pm sit down. Start with rum punch and gnome cocktail served in shaped copper tumblers. Had Chinese duck rolls, beef sliders and chips - all yummy. Eclectic decoration, including the stuffed peacock, view of the Harbour and tables outside for a sunny day. Defiantly worth a visit.

A great opportunity to have a Michelin-star food in an informal, cool atmosphere. The concept of 5 dishes course where each dish is a surprise from the chef makes the experience unique. Each dish is accompanied with detailed explanation from waiters both about the dish and the "right" way to eat it. My highlight were the smoked eel and the lamb chop which were fantastic - but also other dishes were unusually delicious and beautifully served. However, the whole dinner took well over 3 hours. Not sure if this is chef's intention or slow service in a busy day (the place was quite full) - I would happily give it "excellent" if it would take less time.

Great wines & food, excellent service. We were a large party of 25, and serving so many the same menu simultanously is always challenging for a gourmet kitchen, but the Fitzgerald team pulled that off with onøy a few small glitches; a piece of meat not as tender as you could expect, and some vegetables that should have been replaced. However, that is excuceable with such a large group, and I would love to come back with a small party to really enjoy other options on the menu. Dear Tom, thank you for your kind review.
