In de veronderstelling dat we "Van der Valk" restaurantservice kregen zijn we hier gaan eten. Helaas, dat viel tegen en wierp een smet op een laatste etentje op de laatste vakantiedag. Ik bestelde de zalm en zag dat er cherry tomaatjes bij geserveerd zouden worden. Bij het bestellen gaf ik aan dat de cherry tomaatjes weggelaten mochten worden. De serveerster gaf toen aan "dat maakt toch niet uit, want aan het einde van de avond worden ze toch weggegooid".... Vreemd, dat doet een kok toch pas als ze niet goed meer zijn; dan is meestal pas na enkele dagen of na ruim een week.Toen kwam het eten. De zalm was prima, evenals de frietjes.Maar dan: de groente die bij de zalm op het bord lag bestond uit een stuk of 7 cherry tomaatjes en 2 mini stukjes (formaat holle kies) broccoli. Oftewel: voor mij geen groenten, want ik houdt niet van tomaat.Voor ik hier verbouwereerd wat van kon zeggen was de serveerster al weer weg.Toen die na 5 minuten kwam vragen "of alles naar wens was", gaf ik aan hiervan stevig te balen. De serveerster bood (op zich alsnog goed) aan om extra warme groente uit de keuken te halen. Fijn.Maar toch niet; de groente moest nog gekookt worden. Die kwam dus pas toen ik klaar was met eten.Wat ons betreft dus geen aanrader.

We had zuur vlees and sate. Zuur vlees was good and tasty. Sate was very average. From a snackbar it would have been better.

Perfect place, the atmosphere, the design, the food and a specially the staff... they didnât have an English menu, so weâve got explanation about every dish, step by step... we spent an amazing evening with my boyfriend, everything was very tasty, really, usually at least one of the dishes you like less or even donât like at all, but not in that case... I even made an order of 3 different desserts and we ate everything ... We are highly recommending this restaurant and we hope to come back soon for such adorable experience.

We arrived on late, 9:15pm (my god a bit too early for any standard found around the world) but the manager (I suppose) was so gentle to let us ordering and sit. The kitchen closes at 9:30. We all took ribeye steak but it was not of very good quality, lots of nerves and too small. Dessert was good, in reality it was two desserts in one

Our restaurant is located in the city centre of Roermond. A 8-10 minute walk from the central station. Our kitchen is based on nice, fresh products from the region. With a relaxed atmosphere and open planned kitchen is this the ideal place for your dinner

Had a wonderful dinner here with my colleagues! A new, promising place in Roermond! Everything they served was fresh with beautiful and interesting flavours. Each course not only had an amazing taste but also beautiful presentation. A lot of tastes reminded me of my home country which made it even better!The interior of the place is minimalistic, mostly concentrated around wood, which added a very nice fresh and warm atmosphere to the whole dining experience. The staff was very friendly and informed us about every course we had.The prices naturally are a bit higher than average but for this kind of quality I would say the price is fair!Definitely a must go! Will come again!P.s. best bread ever!!! :D

The perfect place to spend a nice evening with friends or your partner. You can eat very particular food, with good wines. The menu often changes, so you can try different food. It is not a tipical dutch menu, but very refined food. The Staff is amazing, they entertain with you, they create a familiar atmosphere, and are very nice!! Price: 40-50⬠per person, but it is absolutely worth it!! We will cane back again. A great place for an excellent dinner! This restaurant is rather hidden and hard to detect but it's worth the go. The food was excellent! Loved all the three dishes. Started with a delicious Carpaccio, a must try Toff-stew, mouthwaterig..the meet was done to perfection and services with side vegetables and fries. For the dessert I chose The White lady which was a perf3ft end to this meal. The food is why I give this place 5 starts. Other than that the place isn't that big so when the restaurant is full,which was in our case, it becomes very noisy. We were seated close to the door so the cold wind would come in sometimes, for me personally it wasn't such a big issue but for others it wasn't that pleasant.I liked this place a lot. They do have english menu wich was a nice suprise.As other reviewers have said it's a bit old fashioned but the food is simply fantastic. Big,Big compliments to the chef!Would love to come again!Be sure to reserve a table! Place is popular!

Restaurant One never stops surprising. Having dinner there every year, we are still very happy customers. It's worth the trip to Roermond. We had the full menu this time. Beautiful amuses, sea bass ceviche (what a killer!), cod, veal and more. Dishes look beautiful and taste great. Great eye for detail. Word cannot describe the experience. Nice selection of wine (and they are pour generously). Informal, very friendly staff. Nice ambience in old industrial building. Only a smalle 'mistake': why no asparagus the menu? The regional gold... and, just in season.Well thanks for taking your time, we as a team really appreciate it. We love to hear from our guest everytime they dine with us, if there is anything else we can do, just let us know and we be on top of it, again. See you soon at ONE!
