My friend and I went to Truffles because I had such A great experience the last time I was there.I have to say this time was even better if that is possible! The steaks at truffles are absolutely to die for and the service is fast and friendly.Itâs a smaller place so you feel like youâre at somebodyâs house. there are a lot of locals that eat at Truffles and for good reason.The manager Barry was making sure everything was to our satisfaction and helped us to choose a wine that was an excellent value for the price. My friend said she thought it was one of the best fish dishes that she had ever had... which is saying a lot since sheâs from southern Italy! Truffles Bistro keep doing what your doing. A++++++++Thank you for taking the time to give us such a stellar review. The team takes pride in serving our guests and using the best quality food items. We had a family dinner for seven at this lovely restaurant overlooking across from Danford's Inn in Port Jefferson. Some of our people favor a vegetarian menu and nothing that we ordered failed to please. My Pad Thai was excellent with shrimp and a few others had a meat variation on this. The vegan entrees were creative and pleasing and a growing young man who ordered the Kobe beef burger came away very happy. A roasted Brussel sprout appetizer was amazing, but I didn't think much of the seasoned fries as an appetizer, but that's just me. Excellent selection of beer and wine and my "Flying Dog Ale" ( I like to order beers with weird names)) was excellent. We'll definitely be going back.
