Reviews on International food in Pisac, Cusco Region, Peru. Písac or Pisac (possibly from Quechua for Nothoprocta, also spelled p'isaqa) is a Peruvian village in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is situated on the Vilcanota River. Pisac is most known for its Incan ruins and large market every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, an event which attracts heavy tourist traffic from nearby Cusco.
Things to do in Pisac
A Whole in a Wall has recently opened in Pisac. Owner Kaneye is originally from New York and came to the region (like many) for its healing and spiritual qualities. When she decided to stay she opened up this little gem to share her love of food. We were really happy she did. Peru is a beautiful place, but the food can be quite generic. Her menu changes often and she has created a point of difference from most of the local restaurants. The fare is healthy, yummy, and popular with those that chance upon it. A bowl of delicious black bean soup cost just 3 Soles. Bargain. We have been well nourished here and have enjoyed her local knowledge and warmth. Another great reason to hang out in Pisac.

vegan event/restaurant serving Indian coconut curry, Japanese vegy/kimchi sushi, Vietnamese spring rolls, Buddha Bowl, chai tea, many beautiful desserts, and small store selling almond and peanut butter, kimchi, coconut yoghurt, miso, kombucha, organic co
This restaurant, only open one day a week, is the place to go on Sunday! You can have a chai with one of the several, healthy, veggie and sugar free sweet treats in the super cozy courtyard or go for a big meal - I personally LOVE the Indian curry, warm and spicy, but the sushi is amazing too - in fact everything is delicious and I just never know what to choose! It's possible to take away too, which I often do - the portions are big and just SO good! And on top of the menu they sell a wide range of goodies that are so hard to get in this area: peanut butter, coconut oil, essential oils, quinoa bread and many other things!

No opening times listed - which means they open when they feel like it. As seems to be the attitude in most of South America. We read the good reviews which included comments about âlunchâ. We turned up at 1pm on a Saturday in peak season, only to find the place closed???? . . . How disappointing.Have a back up planned just in case this happens to you. OR just head straight to Beija Flor just down the road. It was open and had excellent food!Hello Zee337, We are sorry that just the day you came to our place, we were closed. We have more than six years sharing vegan food every day (exepting our rest day) and sometimes we have had really punctual situations (Emergencys, illness, accidents, etc) that made us close. It havent been more than 4 times during this six years. We hope that you will come another day soon during our official open hours and days (We rest every Wednesday) Blessings!

Three story building with rooftop terrace. You can eat quickly or stay for hours making use of our free wifi. Pisac's number one meeting place.
We had lunch here after visiting the Pisac ruins. The inner courtyard is very pleasant. We had soup, guacamole and chips, and carrot cake for dessert. Everything was very good.
