I visited Asturias Aviles with my wife who is vegan, in August which is the most eventful month here. We were in for a real treat as we found out this joint. Lovely food and people. The La Capilla restaurant is an intriguing space steeped in history. It was once the chapel of this 17th-century palace, and has a serene atmosphere that extends from the spacious dining rooms to the rooftop terrace. It has an excellent reputation with gu
We visited from a cruise ship and tried lunch at La Capilla restaurant in the NH Palacio De Ferrera hotel â recommended by some of the shipâs officers. Thanks to them for that, it was simply exquisite. The hotel itself is a delightful old building. Many original artworks are on display. The public areas beautifully preserved and appointed. There are very pleasant gardens to the rear.La Capilla restaurant has a lunchtime special menu. My choice was a gorgeous King Prawn Risotto, a Sirloin Wellington and fruit & yoghurt dessert. It was cooked to perfection and one of the best dining out experiences in quite a while. The restaurant style is slightly formal, but unhurried and friendly. Staff members and Maitre Dâ very attentive. Lunch here starts late at 1:30pm and by 2:00 has filled up with a good local business clientele. We loved the look of the hotel and the dining experience so much that we are planning to return in the autumn and stay here.

we went for a drink on a quiet rainy evening to try this place out before bringing our families for dinner. Thank God for this... There was only another couple inside and a small table occupied outside. There were 3 waiters working by the bar. The first one saw us and he went outside to talk on the phone. The second one disappeared into the kitchen where I could see him doing nothing and the third one busied himself behind the bar avoiding eye contact. After 15 minutes waiting we felt so insulted we had to leave. They are the laziest gang of waiters I have ever seen. The Manager of this wanna be all trendy place should expend some time training these wanna be all cool young staff into professionals. This has been the worst customer service I have ever received in Asturias and I am glad I didnt take any friends/ family there as it would have been embarrassing.
