Long Island's premier beachfront wedding destination venue right on the Gold Coast. One wedding at a time. Perfect for all special celebrations, corporate events, and parties. It's Better at the Beach.
So, this place is GREAT. We got married here 22 years ago, and the food and atmosphere were still great on our 20th Anniversary. If you like the beach, you will love it here. Food is good, (not great), and very pricy. All ion all, I still love it here. In my eyes you come for the atmosphere. Sand, palm trees, and a tropical drink combined with a few appetizers all lead to an awesome evening. It is very gourmet if you like that sort of thing, or just have drinks!!!

Approaching Oheka is like you stepped into another time and place. The castle and grounds are truly spectacular. Save time to walk around and enjoy the ambiance that is Oheka. Now for the restaurant and bar. The bar is beautiful, the restaurant is gorgeous. Service was good, but could have been better for the prices. My tuna tartare for an appetizer was very good. My husbands crab cake was also very good.Bread here served with a fondue type sauce was heavenly. My Chilean Sea Bass was ok, my husbands swordfish was better. We finished with an apple tart that looked beautiful, but the taste was just ok. Drinks were a very large pour. For a special occasion, the ambiance is worth it. Prices for the two of us with one drink was $230.
We've eaten here several times. I would agree with the first reviewer who indicated the prices are off the chart for what you get. I would also agree that the owner, while usually pleasant is one of the most inflexible owners I've ever come across.I enjoyed the sushi during our first dining experience â was toldthey got the sushi chefs from Sea Cliff Sushi, which was a fabulous restaurant. However, the last couple of times we've eaten there the quality has diminished. They had an offer on Groupon, which made it affordable and, therefore, a place we considered when we had a spur of the moment desire to you eat out. But, they only permit you one opportunity to use a Grouponâ¦really??? (Of course, If you have more than one Groupon account, you can buy several certificates. But, why should you have to do that?)This restaurant has so much potential⦠It's a shame it's not being maximized.
