Just ambling along the Lungomare, we noticed a few people up on the terrace and as it was time for a little sustenance, in we went.We soon realised this was the terrace for the Hotel Kvarner so expected high standards and we were not disappointed. A superb bottle of Tomaz, three club sandwiches and a Greek salad later we were extremely happy.

We love visiting this restaurant in Volosko!! The food is amazingâespecially the pizza (which is always eaten too fast to get pictures). The manager and his staff are friendly and welcoming. The street is quiet and the views of the old harbor are gorgeous from the open air seating. Prices are quite reasonable and portions generous. In fact, I recommend sharing! Order vegetables and side dishes for the tableânot per person. Overall, always a great experience.

Beautifully decorated, inviting and went in later for coffee and desert.Facinating deserts beautifully and elegantly presented.We were celebrating cousin to all of us a birthday being celebrated back across the Ocean in the state of Alaska.Here we are decendants of three generations back sons and daughters of brothers and sisters from Croatia and USA.Very special place to celebrate family celebrations in a special way.Return? The coffee place is a delight for the eye. They made a kind of "loft approach" of it and the result is fabulous. Very trendy place, with excellent cakes and chocolate and for the coffee fan...with probably the best coffee in town. No industrial coffee but a real good one. Go there only to haver a look on what they did with the interior.

We've just returned from a really enjoyable week at this hotel. The staff were friendly and respectful, the food and service to a good standard. My ' single' room was a real joy, instead of the usual dark corner I had a lovely full sized bedroom. Much appreciated.Great situation for both town and beach, with numerous other restaurants within easy reach. Would recommend to any perspective holiday makers .

We had a fish soup consisting of a meat bouillon (!) with cold fish cube on the side (which had to be dipped in?) while the salad was as basic as it gets. To follow, the fish was most likely deep frozen as this sea bass was really tasteless. The lamb was good albeit my portion was "minimalistic". So we cut our loss and skipped dessert. The biggest surprise came from all the extras charged which are reminiscent of nearby Italy...We would avoid this eatery and take a 15min stroll instead to find something better downtown.Dear Mr.Olivier Bentin,I m so sorry that you were disappointed...I was there, on reception on your departure day and I remember your reaction when you saw the bill... you should tell the waiter what was wrong with the dish...it looked you were satisfied,..Best regardsCyntia

Going for a boat tour we asked if they could prepare some sandwiches / snack. We were served three (beautiful) aluminium container, one beer and one bottle of water for â¬35....but the container were full of cheap old white bread, some cheese trunnions, a couple of olives and some fat terrible ham (we asked bresaola). Total scam.
