This is a great wine bar with a good value in Belo Horizonte, the environment, the cave and the self-service food is good. You can find many wine's and a nice place to have a conversation with friends or couples. I recommend it.

This is a great restaurant..for food. In fact, the food is over the top; the atmosphere is fabulous. My partner had a duck dish that rivals any I have had in Asia; my shrimp was fresher than the shrimp I get on the coast in Rio de Janeiro and the Beetroot risotto that was served with it was not just delicious, but also a great dish presentation that I was making photos of and sending out on FB.So why the 4 star. The waiter. My God. Why would they hire a guy like this. We came in the afternoon (Feb 6th, so the owner can follow up). The first waiter was very attentive and helpful. But his shift was over. Another took over. He was more interested in first laying out the napkins for later that night than in serving us (at one point we were waiving and seriously, EVERYONE in the restaurant saw us except him). When we wanted the check, he was out in the street doing God only knows what ignoring us, and when we paid, and he looked at my partner with a condescending eye as he pulled out the money to pay as though he felt "finally". I had had enough.For R$520 (including a good bottle of wine and Minas Gerais' best Cachaça), to be treated this way was way too wrong. Yes, this is a great restaurant...and if there werent so many other restaurants I think visitors could put up with is. But on this visit I was very impressed with the places we ate at in Belo Horizonte so, no, I wont go back again until this waiter is replaced.

New restaurant by the museum. It is a buffet restaurant with lots of health and delicious options of salad, meat, dessert, etc. I loved it and I will definitely come back! It has a great location and the atmosphere is great!

They have a very large variety of dishes as well as a barbecue grill on the spot. But remember this is a self service restaurant and you'll pay your food by the weight. Therefore do not exaggerate.

I am never tired of eating in this wonderful restaurant. The food is always delicious and looking nice. It's got a clean, sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and, best of all, even after eating there many times, I had always liked the food.If they keep the food quality I'll find it hard to find a better place!Congratulations to the chef for keeping its high standards.

Cabernet Butiquim is a fine wine bar with a considerable variety of wines at the customer's disposal. Attendants could not be nicer and the environment, or, better saying, environments, are great. Depending on your wish, you can have a table on the sidewalk, or in one of two cozy salons. The bar is also a deli, which keeps a plethora of produce for sale, including wine bottles of its cellar. And Cabernet Butiquim is also a restaurant. However, there is an issue: kitchen is slow and food does not match the rest of this nice establishment. In two occasions, we had sun-dried beef with cassava in butter, which was served too salty. This was also the case of a chicken giblets dish we had as appetizer. Nevertheless, this bar, whose prices are fair, is highly recommendable.

The ambiance is really good but the service is disappointing. They suggested me a USD80 steak which was inedible. I had to order something to replace. Don't bother telling them how you like your meat done. They won't remember it. The plates don't come together. If you have been invited to this place, go and be prepared. If you have a say, go to Fogo de Chao instead.

Thereâs no doubt: Emporio Paraiso is the best Italian place in the greater Belo Horizonte area. Excellence in food, wine and staff. As the name itself gives away, it is an Emporium where you can shop for all kinds of cheese and cold cuts, olive oil, caponata, bread, wine, among many other Italian specialties. The winery has a wide variety of bottles and itâs very dynamic, so make sure you ask for help to find out about new arrivals and specials. Choosing to dine there is also a wonderful option, since itâs the kind of place you feel right at home. The owners are always there and will make sure of that. Enjoy!!
