The restaurant at the Interalpen Hotel is excellent. All courses were very good or excellent. The freshly cooked Italian specialities were wonderful; the dessert was excellent and the cheese board was just amazing.Eating with children is often difficult, but the Liebherr colouring book was great (and also informed us adults of some of Liebherr products, asides from the hotel). Whilst we were half-board this was the only hotel that we have stayed in that charged separately for the childrenâs menu â we paid â¬18.50 for three course evening meal (of which, being a young child, only two were eaten). Some of the other guests on neighbouring tables did not seem to approve of children at meal-times (irrespective of how well behaved, or not, that they may be) â this did make me feel uncomfortable at times.Dear Andrew081, Thank you for your kind words & excellent review! Looking at the rstaurant from the outside and their menu, we had quite some expectations.The kitchen is tipically Austrian and after enjoying the italian cuisine for several weeks, we tried both the famous schnitzel as well as a cordon bleu.The quantity is huge, but the quality is not more than average. It looked like the schnitzel was just fried in the pan instead of prepared like it should be.The staff is very friendly and the value for money is good. Only becuse of the staff, i rated the restaurant with 4 stars, the food is only average.

Called in here one afternoon for some Apple strudel and a hot chocolate. We sat outside on the terrace as it was surprisingly warn in the sunshine and were treated to some stunning views of the village and surrounding mountains. Hot chocolate and strudel were delicious but not cheap, coming to just over â¬8. Staff were very friendly and spoke pretty good English too.

We went out to Was for a dinner with small children. The service was very slow. We ordered at 8pm and did not get the main till 45 minutes later. My husband asked if such timing was a standard here and got a responce that we should dine in Mc Donalds if we wanted to get a quick burger. I found it really shocking that not only we did not get any apology or explanation why the food was late but also a cheeky abuse from the waitress. They must be spoilt here by tourists to be so not customer friendly. The food was tasty but we did not Enjoy the meal after such treatment. Also the tables beside us got their meals beforehand even though they arrived later. Very poor...We go out very often and this is the first time when we encountered such a behaviour in a restaurant. Disappointing experience as the menu and the place look really well.

Really tasty! We have had 6-courses menu - it wasn´t problem to do speccial vegetarian menu for me. Everythnik was delicious. I love their desserts room. (pancakes, fondue, cheeses). Waiter were very professional. Only one thing... equipment and decoration are for me too schmaltzy (but this is everywhere in Tirol)
