This is one of those lovely garden hotels with a swimming pool and great to enjoy the many facilities after a long time on the road. The rooms were a good size and, provided you were careful with the lights and windows, no invading mosquitoes. The restaurant was really good, nothing fancy but all dishes very tasty; the helpings were smaller than usual but you could try the other dishes as well, all included in the price.Breakfast was buffet of fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, croissants and a large array of jams and marmalades. Cooked breakfast was also available and my poached egg was done to a turn. The bar has a wide range of drinks available and a gin with the Fitch and Leedes pink tonic is just heavenly after a trek around the nearby Mlilwane animal sanctuary on a hot day.Certainly the best of the hotels that we stayed in.

Nice location, but who was stand-in for the chef? Ordered spare ribs which was described as juicy tender meat who just would fall of the rib bones. Got under_cocked ribs where the fat was still white and shewy. Sent it out and got it back hard fried, but it was not tender and the meat demanded considerable force to be separated from the rib bones. Sent it out and got a very very well done chicken file. Not a nice experience.Dear PiaOur sincere apologies that this went so wrong. This is certainly not what we strive for and will be working with our food team.
