The Regal Restaurant offer traditional Indian food.specializing in in a fusion of mugali and international cuisine,we offer patrons chance to delve into a world of mystery unraveled with spice.
The Regal is a long way from the gloopy, overcooked dishes you tend to get at most Indian restaurants in the UK. Oddly enough the other place we've eaten at (outside India) that reminds me of the cooking here is the Cricket Club in Moshe Tanzania. It wasn't busy so all our dishes were cooked from scratch which is a rarity. Flavours were refined, herbs fresh, sauces subtle. Really excellent. Nice service.
Where to eat European food in Maseru: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The restaurant is part of Lancers Inn Maseru but is open to the public.
Small cafe in the Pioneer Mall serving a limited menu of food and soft drinks. Great place to pop in for a coffee or snack although the place is looking somewhat tired and in need of a makeover. The staff are always warm, friendly and efficient.
Situated on the top floor of the Hotel, the Sky Restaurant offers panoramic views of the golf course and the surrounding mountains and is the perfect dining experience for visitors looking to enjoy the splendor of an African sunset.
This restaurant has a wonderful position with panoramic views of the city. And it has a very nice feel. But when we were there only about 4 of the wines on the wine list were in stock (and not one we would have chosen if the entire list were available); the service as less professional than I'd grown to expect in Lesotho and the food was good but, for the price, not outstanding. So: go to the Sky restaurant to be in a rather nice place but don't expect the standard that boutique hotels offer in other parts of southern African.
