Since Marstal is the biggest town on the island, we thought it would be easy to find a restaurant for lunch. After asking 2 people we found this one. We both had the burger which was very large and came with all sorts of toppings - onions, cheese, tomato, pickle, etc. we also ordered some frites. All in all a nice place for lunch. There was only one waiter and he did his best to serve the 5 tables that we occupied. A free parking lot is close by,

We visited this restaurant after reading some good reviews - but it was a great disappointment. They messed up our drink although we didn't ask for lots of different drinks. The waiting time was long although there was only another group of six at another table. The fried plaice the waitress recommended was soaking in oil and hardly edible. The coffee was horrible. One pork dish was good and another was, let's say, OK, but I would definitely not go anywhere close to this place again. The service was not perfect either and combined with their high prices it is just a place to avoid.

We had a very nice lunch here - two adults and three kids. Ingredients fresh and well-prepared. We tried both open-faced sandwiches which were delicious and a cheeseburger which was also v good.No childrens menu, but the kids were able to find something they liked (ages 4-10)Staff friendly and pretty efficient.
