Took some guests there for an evening meal and couldn't fault it. Service friendly and caring but not in your face. Lobster and crab soup......delicious. Main course monkfish tempura.....delicate and light yet filling......and the piece de resistance was the Tarte Tatin. Not the one you see all over France that is the little flat pastry with the delicate slices neatly arranged (not saying this is bad as it has its place in culinary history) but Chef Paul's is the best I have eaten in 50 years (and I have had similar offerings in Manoir Quatre Saisons and The Waterside in Bray (Roux) but Chef Paul's take the honours. I could have eaten another 3 easily but that's just being a glutton. Oh it does take about 20 mins to bake from scratch as they are made to order. So I suggest that if you do visit 'BOOK' and and start backwards from the dessert Menu so you know you can leave enough room for Chef Paul's Tarte Tatin.

From humble beginnings as a sandwich bar in 2008, Mo's has evolved as Gozo's top all year lunchtime diner, providing fresh, made to order snacks and meals at unbeatable value and quick service. Firm favourite with locals and visitors alike. Outdoor seatin
Popped in to have a bite but a little disappointed when ketchup bottle was provided to accompany a meal. Why is it that so many establishments refill those cheap plastic bottles and don't bother to replace when finished. The plastic squeeze bottle was grubby and showed worn out labels where it has been wiped with a cloth numerous times. It just makes the whole experience disappointing. Same goes for mayonnaise.Mo's management please take note......when these bottles are empty "DUMP THEM IN THE RECYCLING BIN" and give your customers a clean condiment experience (this goes for salt and pepper grinders as well).

Located in the heart of Victoria, just one minute away from the bus terminus. Coffee Break is the ideal place for either a quick lunch or for a quick coffee during breaks in the working hours or for a relaxing lunch/coffee. The menu gracefully combines al
We were looking for something to eat before our next bus and we found this place conveniently located near the bus station. We set in their outdoor yard and ate local ftira, bread stuffed with olives, capers, lettuce, tomatoes, tunafish and local cheese. The food was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the local Gozo spicy cheese.

Having been here out of season & enjoyed a fabulous meal, decided to book again for friends celebrating birthday's.A party of 7, was booked advising at the time of booking, 2 vegetarians & 1 gluten free, knowing they specialised in both.Service was difficult from the start and were not offered a wine menu; it eventually arrived after asking several times and on ordering white wine, a bottle of red arrived and had to be replaced just as it was being de-corked.Bread arrived but had to remind the gluten free person had not been accommodated for and had to wait for GF bread to be heated through.Food arrived but one vegetarian dish was wrong & he had to wait for the correct main to be cooked & delivered while others continued eating which was awkward. One person orderd, what sounded fabulous, prawns with coconut, lemongrass with cherry tomatoes & received a plate of purely prawns & tomatoes with neither coconut, lemongrass or any of the aisan dressing described being present, making her main meal disappointing & bland. The others in the party did comment their food was delicious but the service sadly was appalling. Having had such a good experience previously we were so disappointed this time especially being a special birthday meal. We have vegetarian visitors again in September and were hoping to bring them, to sample this restaurant's great menu for their diet, but after tonight will have to reconsider.hi sue , I am very sorry that you had a dissaponting night, reall was not our intenion...we were a bit caught as all the tables came togheter , even if told to come at differnet times and we had new staff on the floor, not trying to justify myself, just apologizing for any inconvenience caused on thje night..

This was one of the better dining experiences we had in Marsalforn. The owner (I think he was) was a very entertaining fella and welcomed us warmly to our seats he loves his Football and conversed with us extensively which we enjoyed. The staff in general interacted well. I tried the local ravioli which was nice but extremely filling struggled to finish! Pizza was ok but the fish dishes were definitely recommended. One dish of salmon which was beautifully cooked as well as a fresh Snapper. Would recommend you try a fresh fish dish as unlike a different eatery we visited in Marsalforn the fish here was actually fresh! The prices for the pasta and pizza were reasonable for the area and the fish dishes were more or less standard prices that you would expect in Marsalforn ranging from â¬16-25. A safe bet if looking for somewhere to eat in this area and particularly for the fish.

Having just completed the coastal walking tour around this amazing island, we took the bus back from the coast to the village square! ( 70 miles in five days! ) Choosing where to eat we were draw to the unique interior and warm welcome we received at Rubbles! What an unusual interior, very friendly staff and we loved mixing with the locals. Food was delicious, very well priced good mix of specials as well as comprehensive regular selection. We were given a complementary tasting platter while waiting for our food, very delicious , thanks, It was too. In addition we were offered a lemon liqueur or coffee on the house. Very generous.Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, lovely local wine. Highly recommend.Only negative and nothing to do with the food was our nosey neighbours, who couldnât help notice my husband looking at accommodation listings and tried to push their b an b on us not only once but twice. Network by all means but draw the line at invading others personal stage.Thank your Rubbles for a wonderful local atmosphere experience.
