There are many hotel options in Mancora nowadays. We have been in DCO and Villas Del Mar. Both have a beautiful infrastructure and views as well as good facilities. However, Villas has two other features that makes it particularly attractive for families and couples. The service received throughout the stay is comparable to any best hotel around the world. You literally feel at home. Bryan Cardosa makes every opportunity to eat a delightful moment with good advice, prompt and high quality service. Wilmer Alarcon is attentive, helpful and friendly. The two of them never complain upon every type of request possible, instead they smile and give effective solutions. Milagros Bruno is detail oriented and complements efficiently the two of them. Above all, they all work as a team. Last but not least, Edgar Huaman, the security guard, makes you feel safe and his politeness makes you smile every time you go to the beach. Finally, Caridad, the manager of the facility is efficient, polite, service oriented and makes your stay in every possible way a delightful experience that explains why we have come back three times and planning to come again! I mentioned all that I met, but there is one, the chef, I did not meet. He is responsible for us to only eat at Villas during our stay in Mancora. The food, he prepares, is tasty, has the perfect balance of flavors and comparable to any of the best restaurants found in Lima. The only drawback is that you may not find a variety of desserts in the hotel restaurant, but that you can easily find elsewhere. Therefore if you are looking for a place to relax, eat good food and enjoy the beach, seriously consider Villas Del Mar.
Bistro & Beach Bar sustainable, built reusing materials and spaces of an old Mancora factory on the beach. This season we will have an original gastronomic proposal by the Austrian chef Luca Tamussino (after his visit to MIL Restaurant Virgilio Martinez)
Drinks were good, the setting was great, but the food was incredible disappointing. Tiny portions. Pollo Thai con verduras didnât actually have any vegetables, unless you count a few pieces of nearly white iceberg lettuce. Tiradito with conchas had good flavor, but very small and very little palta. Bottom line: go here for drinks, but dine elsewhere.

Pleasant beach-side setting and helpful staff including owner/chef who speaks excellent English. Sensibly-priced beers and freshly-squeezed orange juice was excellent. As other reviewers have noted there is excellent fish and I had a very good tuna soltado. The only negative is that their wine prices are not so good value, being more pricey than our own up-market hotel. BBQ pork ribs all day Saturday is a plus for carnivores tiring of fish and nearby hammocks provide a restful conclusion to an over-indulgent lunch!

Impossible to argue with the quality (and quantity) for 15 soles. The ceviche was very good to start andthe teriyaki chicken with rice and vegetables was also lovely. My wife had the ravioli in salsa bianca and it had plenty of flavour. The accompanying banana and piña juice was delicious. Money very well spent.

The coffee here is outstanding and the food is brilliant and cheap. For 15 Soles I had french toast, coffee and juice and all were of an excellent quality. The prices are good, the quality great and the portions large. The place is sociable and busy and the service was good also.
