Unfortunately, there was a problem with the heating system for the restaurant on the night of our visit; otherwise, the dining room was a nice setting. I had the Veloute de Choux-fleur and Rable de Lapin Farci - elegant and very nicely done but not my favorite tastes. Wait staff was agreeable. The seasonal menus are carefully composed with limited choices but nice variation. In retrospect, I would have had the cordon blue with gruyere cheese.

The ambiance was quite nice, Very informal & laid back. However would have preferred if they had few smaller tables. All the tables were shared tables with other customers, bit cafeteria style. The food was okay I would say, the flavors were bit missing. There was no WOW factor. Iâm not sure everything is locally produced in Bienne, some of them would do.The waitress who served us was really nice, she was friendly and kind. When we got the bill we were surprised to see 1L of tap water cost 9CHF. That was a bit of a rip off. This is a nice place if you like to have an after work apero with some small bites.Dear TjK-CHThank you very much for this comment. First of all we combine LOKAL products with different stiles/products from other cuisines, that means it is of course not everything produced in Biel. They call it fusion.Water situation: check https://wfw.ch, we spend 10% of water income. Furthermore is our water à discretion (even sparkling...), that means you can drink as much water as you want, for CHF 3.30 (rip off?). I can't follow your mathematics skills that the water was expensiver than alcohol.

Great place with excellent food, kind and proffesional staff !! Beefsteak tartar was the best ever, thank you ;) Everything else that we were eating was also excellent !

We ate an evening dinner in this restaurant. First thing when we arrived at the entrance, two servers passed beside us with out saying good evening or asking if we needed help. Finally we went to a server saying we had reserved a table. The decoration inside is nice and different, that's the only good thing. We ordered two cocktails to start the supper. The server that came with our drinks didn't know what drink was wich (one had alcohol and the other had none). Anyways, they were warm and disgusting. Then we ordered two meet plates. It was tastless and nothing special for the price. Before leaving, we saw the working place of the servers with food all over the floor. The dinner cost us CHF 120.- for two...

Seit der neuen Führung hat sich einiges getan im Restaurant. Die Pizzen kann ich empfehlen. Das Schnitzel hat dafür nicht überzeugt. Aber man geht ja nicht zum Italiener um Schnitzel zu essen. Schnelle und einfache Küche

Great place, we go there every once in a while as we live close by. Undisputedly the best restaurant in Lyss, so at times it's hard to get a table, particularly when you cannot sit outdoors. Hardernpintli is very nice-priced cozy place, the service is always friendly, the food is great, their daily specials take you by surprise. That's how an excellent restaurant ought to be!
